[3.16] Caustic Arrow/Death's Oath Occultist [Life based Chaos Autobomber]

@f4ward this build is INSANE! With Tabula only I blasted through the campaign, using A2 bow. Death's Oath is already 1c, 6S (2R,2G,2B) is ridiculously cheep (15c?). To get 6L bow it's a joke this league as well. The only rly expensive remains Amulet and cluster jewels.

Do I need to buy some custom Aura Effect to see Death's Oath Aura reach or can I turn this on somewhere?

Well, i crafted this beauty, i was lucky with Hunter exalt with T1 :




And after breaking a lot of uniques, i finally hit this one :



Not sure if it's really efficient. But no one want to buy it. xD


I really enjoy this build, i tried Bane/ED before for levelling, and now it's welcome to have something to explode everything just by running into monsters.

As a lot of people, the main problem i have is about survivability of course. Next upgrade will be Glorious Vanity, and Enlighten Support for run Vitality ( and then +1 lvl Chaos/ -10% life ).

If you have some advice. I tried many different ways. And i still die with half of the boss. I just kill Sirus lvl4 after 3 portals, it's really not a good result for me.
I think the main problem is about "no leech" at all. The only way to gain life is life on kill. So, if some bosses don't die quickly, they will rape me after few second because i just have my flask to sustain my life.
The damage for bossing is cool, but not so insane.

The problem is you've got Divine Flesh but only 46% Chaos resists, that node is a detriment unless you cap/overcap Chaos. Drop Atziri's Step and get rare boots to fix ALL your resists asap, but especially Chaos - it needs to be 80% minimum if you're going to run DF (and even at 80 it's probably not worth it tbh).

Drop the aoe Reservation mastery, drop the Vitality mastery (which you don't even appear to be using), drop the 30 strength node and fix it with gear - get Sovereignty and the extra reserve nodes on the far left. Possibly need to run double curse with either Temp Chains or Enfeeble (try them both and see what you like), drop Grace (you have no other Evasion really, I know it's a good skill but I think temp chains will serve you better). You can also try out Defiance Banner for a little extra (less attractive with Viridi's, but still very easy to run).

Edit: You're running Lifetap on CA, but also Clarity? Why?

Don't build CI, honestly.

If you build CI, then you still keep Lifetap in DO, but only for increased damage from quality.

PS. Not to undermine, but if you ask such questions, perhaps you need more experience before making a build yourself. Better follow a guide.

hey, thank you for the build guide, it works very well and i’ve been thoroughly enjoying myself. i’m wondering what anoints are best to use. i see the guide says Sovereignty or Corruption, are these still the best option even though they only save a few points? also wondering what to upgrade next besides gems to gain some damage, feeling relatively tanky enough after crafting endurance charges on rings and adding defiance banner+enduring cry (a8 conqs easy, haven’t tried sirus). thanks!
(edit) didn’t notice there was a cluster jewel section in the updated pob, will just work towards that
