As I'm writing I'm looking into running something like PoE skills overlay just to make keep track of Molten Shell better. I think it's legal to use too.

I'm gonna try design an Elementalist version of the build too for lower budgets.
Not sure how to do it exactly though. Would have to run Frost Bomb to apply Exposure and take advantage of Mastermind of Discord.

But I'm afraid pressing Frostbomb, Curse, Flesh Offering et.c. might feel too spammy. Maybe just link them all to Arcanist brand?
Will have to see if I'm able to conjure a decent build.
But I think Necro will still be the best early game.


Yeah, well for mapping purposes if the dps is sufficient, it might not be necessary to press all those keys. I played a build where you basically just dash spam atk in maps, but at the boss you have the option to use vaal rf,totems and all sorts of good stuff to sky rocket dps.


Yeah that's true. You easily reach a threshold in red maps where white monsters start automatically getting oneshot by colleteral damage caused by explosions and cleaves. At that moment you don't have time to press things like Frost Bomb or Frost Bite anyway.

During early league start thoguh when we're rocking stuff like Clayshapers and Tabulas we probably have to get these things out reliably. That's why I'm thinking that a 4 link with Frostbite, Frost Bomb, Flesh Offering and Arcanist Brand might be a good solution as it it's basically just a 1 button press creating a brand that stays out for long applying everything we need.
Animate Guardian update:
For some reason, I think the prospect of an Animate Guardian with explode mods added to it seems to be unutilized. Not so much by people in this community, but by other minion builds.

So I decided to do some theory crafting and limit testing to try and convince other minion players that our AG is the way to go :)

This is a presentation of my Animate Guardian setup.
To limit test it I wanted to show people how strong an Explode AG is to help with map clear. So I decided to film some T16s with all of my other minions disabled (Except for one Carrion to kill the first target to start explode chains) and see how effective the explode AG really is.

Yo I was just playing around with pob a little and discovered this:

It correctly calculates the contributions of +curse limit, curse on hit gloves etc.
Appearently this has been around for 4+ years lol.
Why are we plugging in all this ag info manually?
The only thing missing are spectre buffs/debuffs and stuff like brittle boots

Just switched my more traditional AG to your aoe explode variation and I've gotta say it's definitely something, I love it!

Are you just using another gear set for the AG and all his bonuses get added?
Also, is that second gearset applied to your current numbers? If you swap to your real gear, those mods won't be added to the dps calculations right?

EDIT: Found it, it however doesn't seem to affect dps on my end

nevermind [Removed by Support] i had the AG gear selected for myself so of course it had an impact lol

Yeah, I think it only works for seeing how much HP or dps he does :/

Glad you like it, it's super strong! Probably gonna prioritize making a cheap explodey AG early on next league just to sort my clear. It barely requires anything.
Had someone test if Quecholli unique mace work for explosions too?

I haven't but it should actually work. Could be an interesting weapon for a low budget AG during league start.

The only problem with the Mace is that it only can procc from kills to spells or attacks. That means it can't procc from its own explosions if I understand how it works properly. But considering it's a 1chaos item it could really be helpful during league start, I'll try it out when I make a fresh character redesigning my league starter/low budget version.
