[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)
I got the build to ~around~ 50m damage and now I'm doing some experimenting to try to get tanky enough to wave 30 a simulacrum. It's been pretty disheartening so far. I picked up a shield with life on block, I've tried stacking some evasion as well as pathing to EB for defiance banner (it "only" takes 4 points) but nothing seems to be working out. I don't like The Front Line for simus because the ground degen effects are SO murderous with 20% more damage taken.
My golems also die pretty regularly past wave 22 or so, even with bone offering. Not sure if this is 100% due to the new rares but some of the cold res stacking can get absolutely bananas, resulting in mobs that take considerable time to kill even with the full damage setup. Has anyone had any luck making wave 30 consistently? I feel like, short of a mageblood, I'm pretty strong for week 1. |

" If you link your PoB I'll see if there's some improvement you can make to farm Simus. Granted, I haven't tested simus with the new rares yet and it might be that my old minimum requirements for finishing wave 30 don't work any longer. In the past, getting Spell Block cap and Grace into the build was a necessity to not feed portals. In 3.16 I used to farm Wave30 on a ~50 ex budget without The Front Line so I think it's doable. But I would probably never play without it nowadays. Front Line requires a specific type of playstyle though. Your goal is to get the duration to 11 sec or more and your armour to ~40k. During the simus you're supposed to just run around in circles during the harder waves. When Molten Shell is nearing ~2 sec, dash to a corner and play safe waiting for the cooldown to reset. Then get back into the monsters when Molten Shell is up. Minion survivability used to be an issue for me aswell in the past. My Golems and Zombies used to die to Kosis during later waves. When on a budget, I solved this by running Empower(3) in my chest to boost their health to ~50k which was enough. But yeah, if you give a PoB I'll see if I can make some changes and gearing suggestions which hopefully will help. EDIT: First glance at your gear and I'd have to unfortunately say that there's no way you'll be able to do Simus comfortable with your current setup. That version of the build probably isn't ready for Simus yet. Keep in mind that Wave 30 Simus are HAAAARD. They're one of the hardest types of content in the game and usually people need literal mirrors worth of gear to farm them. Some meta builds like Skeleton Mages are able to farm them on a cheaper budget (~30 ex I think) due to Fleshcrafter and Aegis Aurora. Dead,
Thank you for clearing my doubts about the equipment options at AG. Can you share with us what method you chose to farm your Mageblood? |

" I did Blight, Essences, Heist and Altars in Strand. First 3 days of farming I did Alch and Go with essences which was okay. Last 2 days of farming I did Gilded Blight Scarabs which skyrocketed the profits. Everytime my Blight tab was full I did all my Blighted maps. Took 1 rotation of x60 Blighted Maps to farm the currency. I also did some Blights during the start of the League to get starting currency. I sold 6 Exarch Invitations and 3 Eater of Worlds Invitations(With the 10% procc node thing). So lets assume I did ~225 maps total and ~90 Blighed maps. Sold everything else. Lucky high budget items I got was: x2 Enlightens A couple of Exalted Drops (Don't know, maybe 5?) Corrupted x1 Anomalous AG that I sold for 10 ex x3 Pure Ex drop from a Expedition Encounter Hit a Vicious Bite, Renewal and Feasting Fiends 8 point cluster that I sold for 3.5 ex in Harvest. Early on when my gear was ~2 ex total during Alch and Go I failed ALOT of blights. So I swapped to Expedition and Harvest for a day. But only mustered to do ~50 maps because it was so boring. Bought some upgrades and did Blight again after. THat's when I started using Scarabs. That's all I can remember. Opened 1200 stacked decks. Made 110 chaos in valuable cards from them (x1 Nooks Crown, x1 Abandoned Wealth) Última edição por Deadandlivin#2745 em 23 de mai. de 2022 10:41:36

Hi Deadandlivin, thank you for the guide. I'm really enjoying it so far this league. I've been saving up for an ashes (I'm at 35 exalts) and was wondering if that would be the best use of currency at this point. I'm pretty infamous for forgetting to do simple stuff (I forgot to do my fourth ascendancy this league until level 92 lol). Would you mind taking a look? https://pastebin.com/8Jt3hGCw Thanks again for the guide.

" I'm one of those who prefer to stop all upgrades once my build is playable and save up for big ticket items. So personally, I would probably get an Ashes if I were you. It feels great to just get the most expensive parts of a build out of the way and this league, Ashes is super expensive so you kinda just want to pull the bandage and get it over with. It's definitely not the most efficient way to use the currency. 40 ex could easily be spent to upgrade the rest of the build making it way stronger. But those type of upgrades are easier to farm to and once you got the big boy items out of the way you can consistently farm 1-2 upgrades per day after that instead. |

do u need to keep spawning enduring cry for surviving or just the 75% do the job?

" Since I have free socketslots I like using Enduring Cry when on a budget. Especially when running Call to Arms on my Skin of the Lords as it makes it instant cast which allows me to numlock it and cast it on cooldown. I'm not using it so much for the Endurance Charges, but linked to Increased Duration with all duration in the tree it makes the buff last 8 seconds, as long as the cooldown. So this means we can have permanent uptime on the buff which buffs the power of all Endurance Charges by 50%. Instead I like Enduring Composure on a small cluster to consistently give us max Endurance Charges. For 1 extra skill point we can have 4 Endurances Charges passively for 16% phys dmg reduction This is further increased by 50% for a total of 24% with Enduring Cry. I'm currently experimenting with a new medium cluster that I stole(No shame) from another build creator. It gives 100% increased Armour and Onslaught to us and all our minions whenever we use a Warcry which is really good. Safe to say, with 82k Armour with the buffs going(Mageblood btw) and 44% phys dmg reduction from Frontline + Endurance Charges I'm now immune to phys pretty much. Only thing that really kills me is Elemental damage when Molten Shell is down. |

Hi would you please be able to have a look at my gear? I have similar gear to your medium budget build but I have no idea why it says 22mil while your medium budget has 220 mil dps.
Thanks so much! |
