Keep going Absolution until you can get Dead Reckoning.

Run away from rares. Offscreen kill if you can.

Archnemesis mods are too strong for Acts because we have bad gear and just a few skill gems. I died so many times to crazy mod combinations. But seems like GGG is fixing it now...

If you are planning to play Skele mages, it's better to level up with Absolution.

You can follow the gem/links for skele games and just change skele -> absolution.

Another option is 4L Absolution and 4L infernal skitterbots to help with clear speed in Acts.

Absolution is strong but it's a bit annoying for boss fights because sometimes the sentinel doesn't spawn quickly... for example trying to spawn them in A4 Piety :P
I prefer SRS because it's more reliable and they can kill offscreen.

I took a break from PoE the past two leagues. I love Kay's builds and figured I would come back in with something I am familiar with. But what would all of you recommend for end game bosses, Skele Mages, Golems, or Spectres?

I have stuck with Golems and Spectres in the past, but am curious about Mages.

I think mages are the best overall minion now. But it's very popular so the unique jewel is expensive in week 1. It will drop to 5-10c soon though (common jewel). Most people play Absolution while waiting.

first I would like to thank you for your effort you put into your build guides for us fellow Necromancers =)
Been having a blast with the minion army starter build as always and aquired some currency already.

I would like to upgrade into pure spectres soon and I saw your 3.17 video for the miserly poacher guys... they do look really fun. Would you say that they are worth speccing into from a mapping perspective in 3.18 even with all this archnemesis stuff going around (hopefully they will nerf them even more in the near future) ... I don't really care for bosses atm.

aaaand my other question is in regarding for the pure spectre 3.18 pob on the first site the lvl 95 no cluster tree and the single cluster tree are working perfectly fine but the double cluster tree in pob contains no cluster, I mean the passive points for the cluster slots are taken but there are no jewels... would the double cluster look like the single cluster setup x2?

Why Aegis Aurora is final shield we aiming for? If we invest so much into hp wouldnt good crafter health recovery on black shield be better?

Could you use Skeletons as the main source of damage while leveling the league starter version? Or are the passives much more aligned to using SrS the whole time?
