u cant play skele mage without the unique jewel that is seriously expensive at league start :D

Unfortunately, definitely not a starter :(

Mages need Dead Reckoning. Last league it was 60c in the first week.

The items for the animate guardian are pretty expensive. Is there a cheaper version for it? The helms are over 1-2EX. Or can I skip the guardian for late late game?

with my current AG setup, i tried to run a sim. made it to wave 26 and my AG was literally the only thing to survive LMAO

Would it be fine to go a abso summoner into one of these builds later on ?

I recommend to invest in AG after you have at least level 20 AG gem.

Budget AG gear:
> Helmet: Leer Cast
> Body: Rare Redeemer Body with "Nearby Enemies are Blinded", or Belly of the Beast
> Gloves: Southbound
> Boots: Victario's Flight
> Weapon: Dying Breath

Thats what i will be doing until i can afford the items for the skelli mages

I haven't followed the game since a few patches back and it seems there have been some major changes, especially with the new mastery stuff.

The 3.16 spider build I want to go for is marked as outdated, I am guessing there will be an update to the guide soon? In the meantime, I love how it is all set up to start the league smoothly and then branch out to more advanced builds. Many guides have you switch a build around after league starts but not all are so integrated.

So, I don't think I have followed a Kay's guide before (maybe waaay back). I am looking for builds that can clear anything on the atlas, not necessarily broken easy but at a reasonable EX cost that can be had with a little solo farming and a lucky trade or two (I don't want to mention price range because it depends on the league and timing).

Am I in the right place for all that? :D

I think so! I only have one character in league, so all my build use the same passive tree with some small changes and I try to keep all the gear the same too. It's cheaper and easier for me. But the downside is my builds are not minmaxed :\ I usually finish the challenges, so the builds should handle almost all the game content though!

Spiders for 3.17 will have more DPS and more tankiness! I already made it and did some early testing, so the new guide should be soon.
