3.25 Wrecker's SWAPPABLE MINIONS: Stress-Free Builds & Filters | 1-Button, HC SSF, Pure Item Freedom
Okay, yeah the "phantom" life leech does show up sometimes and wildly fluctuates when I'm fighting. So maybe it is having an effect? I'm just really bad. From my perspective, that only activates after I've quaffed a flask. It will never show that faded color if I'm at 50% health.
Edit: Nevermind! I notice it now. Disregard what I said. Thanks for the help. :D Última edição por Kozmas#0835 em 21 de nov de 2024 18:15:14

"This is a game that just requires lots of familiarity. Don't feel bad about it. The game doesn't allow players to see danger well, nor does it teach user about their experiences. So this game requires way more time played than other games to be comfortable with. It'll come. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

" Yeah, I just died to the pirate boss and lost my ship too. x.x I just need repetition until they can't screw me over any more. |
|
" So I've continued testing this and I think it's either intermittent or possibly an event related bug. There are times where I can see tons of the phantom-life granted by leech and it's clearly working, and times where despite lots of damage being done it doesn't seem to be having any leech (and no anti-leech modifiers in effect). That would fit with some people's reports that unspeccing and reallocating the 10% instant leech node causes it to become effective again. |

I've got a question. Since our zombies do chaos damage, the stat "minions deal an additional X-X physical damage" will that be directly converted to chaos? Also, I read somewhere that you said we should always be in sand stance? Will blood stance not increase their physical damage, and in turn chaos damage?

"Good questions, Kozmas, 1) Correct. Increasing our allies'/minions' physical damage does increase their damage. All their physical damage gets converted to Chaos damage. 2) So, Flesh and Stone isn't exactly an aura. Pride, Flesh and Stone, and another one that I currently forget are not technically Auras. I mean, I guess they are, but they don't impact ourselves nor our allies. They impact the enemy. So, Flesh and Stone increases the amount of physical damage enemies TAKE. It doesn't change how much damage our minions do before they hit. So, being as our minions only deal Chaos damage, increasing the amount of physical damage enemies take doesn't help us. Make sense? Let me know if you have any other questions! https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Makes perfect sense! Appreciate the help. The main reason I'm asking is because I've got a belt that makes my minions leave a puddle of chaos damage, which seems to do quite a bit of damage when my zombies die, and I can spam revive them to create puddles, but I've also got a jewel that adds a significant amount of physical damage and chaos damage to each attack for my belt. I'm torn between the two.

"Awesome! I'm glad it made sense. Good luck with the choice! It's tough when you enjoy both playstyles. There's nothing wrong with swapping back and forth (with your belts) to accommodate your mood if the build allows for it. Sometimes I swap back and forth with skills each map just for fun. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Seems the POB lists 8 gems for main Body Armor:
Raise Zombie Summon Phantasm Energy Leech Chance to Poison Meat Shield Void Manipulation Cruelty Empower Why are the last 2 listed? Should I prioritize those over the blue/green support gems listed previously? Thanks awesomely for the build and tips! I'm having fun :) "It is a cruel joke that man was born with more intent than Life."

Hi there, Wrecker. I love minion builds, and it's been a good long while since I played zombies, so I'm trying your defensive setup. :)
Obviously this leans more into defense so it won't be the fastest zoom-zoom build out there, even for minions, but what might you recommend as far as getting more clear speed? Would Raise Zombie of Slamming be advisable, or do you think we lose too much health on the zombies with that for them to be viable? Now that the default zombies lost their slam, I just feel like they're really slow. I was using SRS and Infernal Legion through the campaign to help with clear, but now I've gotten my ascendanceies I was thinking of sticking with the zombies. Also, I've got the Stygian Ape and the Undying Evangelist, but what might you recommend for 3rd/4th specters? Thanks! |
