i would use vulnerability for the HC version of the build and projectile weak for the Crit SC version of the build.

I still need some feedback on the HC version as i do not have the time to test it!

Until you get the right gear you probably need resolute technique tbh.

I tried it in hardcore and died a couple times around level 30-40 from stupid mistakes.

No. you need RT because of reflect mobs, if you accidentally crit them you die, especially if its a large pack you can 1shot yourself, that is the reason behind taking RT, not for the accuracy, for safety :)

Currently having these items on my lvl 51 Ranger


Got ~430 DPS, can use both haste and evasion aura and easily spam RoA without the need to use mana flasks. When I use frenzy to gain charges I need to let 2 seconds for mana to recharge to start spamming RoA properly again.
Damage reduction with IR is ~58%, all my resistances are ~70% with the exception for chaos which is -12%, life is 1,1k.
I could use a better bow by now but I think I am doing fairly well for Cruel Act 3 atm.

EDIT: For new players trying this build, Normal will be kind of tough. But once you get to Cruel it is a piece of cake tbh. No idea how will I do on Merciless but Cruel is so much easier than Normal. Although you can still get raped really fast you get surrounded by too many enemies.

The moment i upgraded my Armor with 5L and link 4 support gems(FAST,INCDMG,INCCRIT,LIFE LEECH) with Frenzy, now i'm getting OOM faster. :( 2 AURAS enabled Grace&Hatred.

I'm on my 50's i already got my mana flows node and still i'm getting mana problems. I got 4% mana leech btw.

you're supposed to use mana leech with frenzy not life leech

that's probably your problem

I'm having trouble surviving. I can't solo any bit of Act III on Cruel, and even in groups it gets rough. I've become so frustrated with losing all of my experience points I'm considering making a farming character so that I can come back to this one with lots of orbs to make it easier. I'm trying not to give up but this is my gear and it's causing me grief.



Any tips? I've tried crafting higher level gear but I've been very unlucky in getting the orbs I need, and the gear I need seems to rarely drop.

you need mana/life leech so bad on those accessories.
