New Forum Policy: No Hateful Posts

damn, i hate this hateless posts now... :)

Well...I am about done downloading the game, and I must say that after reading this thread I am very curious as to how people behave IN game. Looking forward to finding out!

I can't agree with this shift more. I'm a huge fan of this game and continually refer friends. Because this game has SO much flexibility and the PvE evolves as the difficulty increases, it can bury the novice under the weight of its options. The forum threads are the only mitigation for this. Having the ability to read about features, builds, and options works when the conversations don't derail for pages on end due to intentional inflammation.

Let's just hope the moderators only censor the intentionally inflammatory language and tone; not the messages.

Two things:

Discussing illegal activities.
Discussing moderation.

The second is in the spirit of the "No hateful posts" policy,
I'd say as it aims to protect the employees from uncontrollable pressure.

Like i pointed out in that thread. It was poorly handled by the mods.

But i agree, the forum rules still apply.

What's this madness?!


If i understand well, GGG says that support is going to simply delete hate non-useful comments because devs have feelings like other humans..

What do we have now? Support deleting and locking threads that had no hate or useless hate feedback toward devs, deleting any thread/comment speaking frustration out ( like discussing bad moderation)


What's even worse? Now the are DELETING off-topic comments, not only "hate off topic" ones but simply "off topic" comments. Why is this worse? Because now they are not even doing the [removed by admin] for comments containing half-"off topic" half-"on topic" content, i spoke with a mod the other day and he said like : Yeah because the comment contained a large portion of off-topic i chose to delete it..


Expect to have any hate thread deleted from now on even if it has good feedback on it, yay for radical moderation.

There is some darkness in a fake light(moderation).
I did not perceive it back in time though.
Part of fake light is actual light, and everything is not lost.

Situation as i see it is: Low life pool forum => A lot of things are bad! But there is still some life.

You guys rock. I've been hardcore gaming for 30 years and I mean you really, really rock. GGG is how you've made it and never a truer word. Everyone who cares enough to hate cares because they love. I care enough to post, which puts you in the Top 5 of my Giveashit Factor of Games(GFG).

As a noob who's clocked a mere 200 of my hard won private hours in the game, I give you great respect for the piece of genius you've created and I whole-heartedly support this move to protect the people we all love (sometimes in weird and twisted ways) and their brainchild from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

Respect that you still have devs reading the forums at all!
