" While at the subject of the item rarity support gem, does it only work if you kill the monsters with the skill gem its connected to? " As far as I experienced, only works with the skill gem connected to it. Mine is placed in between Dual strike and Viper strike so it works on either of those, the two skills I mainly use to finish off named ones/bosses/etc. Default: Nagarashi

Is it possible to do flicker spam with Blood Rage with this build efficiently? or does Blood rage drain too much HP and isn't viable? Or does it equal out later, I may just be low level (37)

It's still draining to much at lvl 50~ for me if you cant kill enough and have somehow lifeleech or keep getting pots refilled which depends on killing fast enough.

you can't expect to be able to keep up blood rage and flicker spam when
1. You don't have at least 4.0% Life regen per second including nodes and Vitality 2. You don't have 0% chaos resistance. Build of the Week 14

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering why you recommended not leveling lightning strike past 9? Is it because of the increased mana cost or str req? Or is there something else I'm missing? We go pretty far into str nodes so I doubt it's because of str :S

" You should level Lightening Strike, the reference he made was about initially leveling it due to mana requirements. I've been leveling all my skill gems, if I get to a point where it gets me into trouble...just trade for some level 1's! |

" It's mainly the mana. If you think you can sustain it without putting yourself at risk you can keep lvling it. Otherwise keep it at lvl9 until later. You don't have to keep it at lvl9 forever ^^ Default: Nagarashi
