Hello so this is my gear at this point and i have accumulated around 100 chaos orbs now and looking to get some upgrades. But first i need to ask a q about my gems because i now think that Enfeeble is not the way to go as i need to get to much Int and due to that i have far less options on rings/amulet to go for. So can you comment a bit on that and what i should change. Also how about enduring cry on cwdt setup as it boost life regen? Second thing is, i am planing to get Rat's Nest and after that maybe Shadow and Dust hands?? and because of that i would like to try to cap my ele resistance without having it on head and even maybe hand slot. At the moment i avoid reflect maps bcs of my bow and for the time being i don't mind it because a good rare bow costs way to much for me at this point. I am at 4.4k life and still have to pick like 2 +4/5 % life nodes and will be looking a bit higher life on some pieces so that shouldn't be a problem.

Got few questions I meant to ask:

- how do you deal with that?
- I cannot seem to find a 5 link setup on GGGRB (classical for both frenzy and tornado shot)

2) Elemental reflect on rare mobs
- my DPS came to a point where I can instakill rares in one or two shots
- usually that is fine, even when they reflect
- but if it is a golem or any other high HP monster I reflect heavy amount of dmg
- I have 4.5k HP pool and in one/two tornado shots I can loose up to 90% health.
- OFC I am capped I also run dodge and pretty evasion, that doesn't prevent me from getting hit from time to time, I also use quartz flask for another 10% dodge
- any clues here? I run hatred and TS with phys to lightning and weapon ele dmg so yeah, 70-80% of my dmg might be ele, but what can I do there?

3) the need for secondary skill
- Most of the time I play I feel like the dmg of frenzy is lower than TS and I do not even use it on bosses
- it is much easier just to spam TS anywhere on the screen as it hits the target anyway
- compared to it, any other skill is just too complicated to use :D
- I mainly have frenzy to stack the charges
- so my question is, do you even bother using secondary skills? Is it worth it? WDYT?
- I was also pondering over the idea of picking up Vaal Burning arrow, I saw this guy having it on trap with insane dmg :)


NOTE: Don't wanna go into Vaal pact, I hate using blood rage with zero regen :D

1) Elemental reflect maps = Remove all elemental damage from your gem setup. This includes aura's. Switch to Grace or Haste. Visa versa for phys reflect maps (use LA and PTL for 100% phys -> lightning conversion).

2) Acuity, VP or permanent change to gem setup. Look in this thread: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1549663

3) The secondary skill is used for different situations. For instance I use Blast Rain since it has build in phys -> fire conversion making it safer vs. phys reflect rares. It is also good vs. atziri split phase. Burning arrow serves the same purpose and deals quite high damage as well.

As suggested above trap is a nice addition. I only find it really useful vs. Atziri in the split phase though.

You could also use it for Curse on Hit setup or frenzy for generating frenzy charges in drawn out boss fights.

Immortal Call works without endurance charges, they only lengthen the effect.
Any advice on gear requirements for normal atziri??? Currently at 82 with capped resists and 4.4k hp. First character I ever got this far and wanna try atziri soon

Defenses are good enough. Normal Atziri is easy if you know how to do it. It is almost purely a matter of learning the fights. Do not be discouraged if you fail the first or second run :)

Just read up on the fight, have a solid flask setup, put on /dnd so you won't get distrupted by trade requests etc. and stay calm. Focus on dodging boss attacks and put in some damage when you can :)
I currently play BR/LA combination...what can I do vs enemys who resist elementar DMG?

Avoid or is there a special tactic vs them?

I very recommend Blood Rage. It gives you insane attack speed and leech!


frenzy + faster attacks + coh + assassins mark is best way, blood rage wont give u much in boss fights, will hurt u on maps without regen, and on regular maps u need to spend points for hp regen, attack speed benefit//leech is marginal (leech only for phys and la is 100% elemental, and attack speed wont boost your dps much - you already have lots of +%attack speed from nodes. dps wise assassins mark gives much more benefits)

personally i spent almost one day of playing deciding should i run blood rage, or frenzy with links i stated above, and blood rage was inferior. and if u really want to minmax dps its not that hard to keep 3 power charges + max frenzy

of course your main attack vs single target will still be blast rain, frenzy is there just for cursing bossess//generating charges + sometimes single target (vorici missions)

biggest downside is that its 1 socket vs 4 links so its hard to compare that, but if you are short on socket space u can always just run frenzy + coh + assassins mark without faster attacks.

but if you really want to have economical (1 socket option) then blood rage for maps, frenzy for bossess

Projectile Attacks gain damage as they travel further, dealing up to 30% more Damage to targets.

Projectiles have 100% additional chance to Pierce targets at the start of their movement, losing this chance as the projectile travels further
Projectile Critical Strike Chance increased by Arrow Pierce Chance
Far shot likely wins, 100% additional crit is not that much damage. It is equal to about 8% more damage. The pierce is equal to about 3 passives. Pretty much your choice is an always 8% more and 3 passives vs 0-30% more damage. Its really hard to give an exact benefit because we don't know the distance it uses. If it works like point blank and scales to screen distance you probably getting about 10-15% more damage on average depending on the skill used and playstyle.

Point blank tends to work a lot better when your using chain or TS, especially TS because of how they calculate ranged. Each hop adds the previous distance and the splits add the distance before it splits on TS so chained projectiles can easily cap out point blank especially TS with the +1 chain deadeye.

I will be honest though there is very little reason to use pierce anymore outside of certain builds. It falls behind pretty much every other options. Ts with chain deadeye is better than 100% pierce, so is LA. Even split arrow with +1 chain is likely better dps than +1 proj unless you are firing into huge packs, on the average pack your going to get more out of the chain. You have to remember that that the +1 chain is at worst 33% more damage if you already are using a chain gem. Otherwise it effectively doubles your dps against a pack.

What skilltree to follow when leveling a Scion ? It says not follow the augmented skilltree but there is no other skilltree for scion.
