Game constantly crashing PC randomly...
144Hz is still very high and would cause a lot of GPU usage and power.
Are there any lower refresh rate settings you could use to lower the demand on the system? Also, turn post processing off. It causes extra work as well and I'm not sure you'd notice the change visually much. |

Same issues as other posters here. Started 2.2 and has continued with fresh installs. Tried different hard drives, all graphic settings, replacing a fresh ggpk on start and there are constant crashes. Occasionally PoE will run for a couple hours but then it will return to crashing at every loading screen eventually resulting in a BSOD.
Using my RM1000i PSU's monitoring software there are no spikes in temp or fan usage for any component. the GTX 980 ti never acts as if it's under full load. Using Nvidia's software to limit fps to 60 did not resolve the issue either. Here is an example of an occasional error that's received (normally it's just a generic "close the program" crash): ![]() ![]() These crashes started about a month+ into the Perandus league, when I uninstalled instead of troubleshooting. With (many) fresh installs since 2.3, the issue remains. Using Windows 10. |

Well, if you all need help, my PC was crashing for no reason. All I did was run the game fullscreen and now it works. Hope I can save a few souls :3 And while I wan't to thank everybody that tried resolving this issue, it would be preferable to avoid telling someone to buy a new 200$ power supply when that makes no sense. I got the same answer going on another forum: "your power supply can't power your system!". Here's the thing tho. A computer with a 6950X, 2 Titan XPs all the ram and the storage, will not pull more than 500w. So here I am with my 6700K and a 1070 with an 850w power supply getting told its not enough. Please make some research before telling someone to buy new parts.

Just wanted to add that poe is definitely the problem for me here. Nothing suspect is coming up in event viewer. All temps are fine and my system is more than capable. All other games run fine. On win7 as well since that seems to be a common theme here? I really wanted to enjoy legacy but this isn't worth it.
