Game constantly crashing PC randomly...

My pc is stucking too!
I have a decent working pc but since 3.0 its not good.
When I try to start PoE, I see the patch notes upscreen and downscreen "checking resources". After 10 seconds all is stopping. The WMP is not able to play the music I am listening, the internet browser is not able to load the pages.
It make no sense to me.
WoW, Diablo 3 and other games are working well. PoE is - if it is opening - not able to show me the hide out on decent graphic anymore. It make no sense to me but its really annoying...
Same issues for me.

I am playing, when my PC crash (noisy black screen) randomly

Before 3.0 I never had this problem!..
i came back to poe after quite some time and yeah, it crashes for me too (it never crash before). It just freeze and after few sec game closes itself, no crash msg whatsoever.

I strongly agree!

At least on my end, when Fall of Oriath and 3.0.0 was first released, the game's stability was so rock-solid, quickly responsive, and buttery-smooth, I'd frankly never seen Path of Exile shine like that before. It made a night-and-day difference to my enjoyment of the whole game.

More to the point, that improved performance conspicuously made the game far more fun to play than I imagined was possible before. An immediate lesson I got from that was simply that we should never under-estimate how important such smooth performance is to being able to enjoy any games in Path of Exile's Action RPG genre. Whether I liked that fact or not as a Path of Exile fan (or no matter what type of game I wanted to categorically think it was), that lesson conspicuously included Path of Exile now. Because for all of it's other great strengths, the proof of that was definitely in the pudding as soon as I started playing and enjoying 3.0.0 so much.

But then patch 3.0.1b was deployed. And it abruptly made the game so unstable and broken, that now I'm actually just contemplating whether I should bother trying to play it anymore for awhile right now. In fact, all that brought me to these forums today is I'm checking if it's been fixed yet or not.

And I don't mean that in a mean or hyperbolic way. I just literally mean that it's suddenly become so plagued with lag spikes, plus it's crashing to desktop almost every time I defeat a boss or open a new act or achieve anything, that the game is significantly broken at this point. At least it isn't a slideshow thanks to it's new dynamic resolution feature. But the net result of the lag is still making me feel awfully disconnected from what's happening on the screen. Any sense of immersion or engagement in the game play feels fundamentally broken by so much lag. And don't even get me started on how frustrating all of the disconnects and crashes are...

Anyway, I'm probably going to keep trying to give it a chance every now and then, in case this is all just a temporary server issue or some such. But I doubt it, considering how abruptly these issues suddenly started when 3.0.1b was deployed.

Meanwhile the game is still somewhat playable. But it has become too laggy, unstable and frustrating for it to be worth playing anymore until GGG somehow fixes these issues. I have no doubt GGG will do so. They always pull through. I believe it's only a question of how soon they can figure out what the problem is, then it will be fixed.

Since 3.0.1b patch games randomly freez and i get dced . Before that patch i never had any problem with poe and i play since beta...
I am a new player, and relatively computer dumb with respect to overclocking and how to even do any of that. Game ran fine for awhile over the past few weeks and today it just started crashing my computer completely. I thought the battery was dead or something, and it wasn't overheated. I was away for a few days and my computer had been off, so I literally just booted it up and this happened.
