maybe a stupid question but why do you not use the close combat support gem?

Because its conditional. The only gem that I can swap out for Close combat is damage on full life and that's very reliable in slayer. I'm just not sure if it's worth it.

Nice! First time Uber elder with 2 deaths is pretty good. Uber atziri would be really difficult without slayer phys reflect immunity, I tried it with my berserker cyclone, and her 1% reflect destroys me.

Not sure if this has been asked before but isn't using Daresso's Salute with blood rage kind of counter-intuitive since we won't be at full health due to the blood rage? Or are we just using the amulet for the +2 melee range

We're on full life most of the time. Check the FAQ for an explanation.

Can someone check out my character and give some tips on what to upgrade, I'm currently at 93k dps with flasks, 63k without. I feel like damage is pretty low, I have a devoto's without the enchant but I'll be below max resist. Also will I be fine if I have max resist or just over to like 80%? Or will I need atleast 100%.

Get a starforge, get 20/20 gems. Get levels and fill up some res with jewel sockets. Get devoto's. Get better rings eventually. Get the helm enchant.

Capped res is sufficient as long as you're running a warding flask for curses.

Just a quick question. Is there any upgrade I can do on my build to increase damage besides the Starforge. I'm currently saving up.

The OP says that a kondo's pride only does 30% less damage than a starforge but on POB even the best kondo is 40k less dps than a random starforge I compared it to.

I'm not terribly experienced with the game so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

20/20 gems. 6L Warchief. A perfectly rolled doomsower would be better than a perfectly rolled kondo's, but not by much. Anything more will need currency. Helm enchant, boot enchant, 6L starforge, vuln haemophilias.
