Can i add a Awakened Added Cold Damage Support in here somewhere?? or is useless

I need help. Somehow i get lighting damage on my Vortex and Cold snap and i don't know from where. If you can help me locate the source i would be gratefull because it destroys my EE setup.

Having Lightning dmg on spells is fine, it does NOT ruin your EE. Only Cold Dmg to spells would ruin your EE as it will then make you have a 100% uptime of Cold resistance increase for the enemy. Whilst the EE is designed to sometimes give enemies higher cold res it is designed with OoS & SB to consistently override this by making enemies have lower cold res which will effectively affect the cold DoT which is our main source of dmg output.

Because of this, you can NOT have COLD dmg added to spells as it would then ruin the whole design of SB / OoS proccing negative cold res on enemies and would in fact continue to give enemies cold res increasements.

If you have lightning or fire dmg to spells that doesn't matter as that's not something you'll be using to actually deal dmg with.

Added Cold Damage only works with the initial hit AFAIK (so useless apart from instakilling tougher packs).

What I was wondering is if you can use a gems normal and Awakened version? e.g. PoB shows me that Awakened Swift Affliction+Swift Affliction is more DoT dps than A.S.A. + Hypothermia. But does it actually work? It's a few percents of difference so hard to measure ingame.

They don't stack, was asked and answered around league start, too long ago for me to provide source though :D

So far it has been worth it with tier 16 metamorphs dying in less than five seconds. The loss of CI is noticeable but not a huge deal when everything dies quickly.

How come you have a normal Discipline instead of Vaal Discipline? Would it not work in that shield?

So I tried to reroll my cyclone and found your build. I'm pretty sure it's a good build but I really feel squishy (8k ES) and feeling like 0 damage.

I can't do any T15+ without dying again and again. Some advice would help because i'm really interested in this build.
