Hello, I am considering it as my starter in 3.10 I really like this idea, I wanted to put together something like this but I came across this guide.

The question is whether it is worth using Circle of Guilt ring with increased physical damage and buff effect, pob shows 200k more damage on Reckoning.

The second thing that puzzles me is why you don't use Cooldown Recovery Speed on your shoes and belt (although the best belt is definitely Ryslatha Coil).

@frostzor27 I ask you mainly because I see you played 3.9, Angry didn't play. How does this build look on bosses after increasing their HP points and survivability on strong Morph, new Conquerors, etc. Thanks for answering

Uniques are great and all, ut you need to get resists somewhere. Boots and belt are literally the only places where you can get it, otherwise you need to gather extra on jewels and sacrifice crit and damage. So, you win some you lose some.
Cooldown recovery boots and belts usually have absolutely terrible stats and are next to useless.

Hello angry how about crusader slamming a well rolled stygian? Would the coooldown recovery be worth it then? Just thinking before I actually try it for reals lol

Sure, if you can be so lucky :)

I'm testing the build now in anticipation for 3.10 using all the currency I built up with my Necro.

I'm thinking of getting boots with fortify support built in as mod and socketing riposte there for sort of perma fortify. This frees up the cyclone 6 link to take infused channeling for better defences and offence.

And based on what loczek said would a 20 percent cool down recovery belt affect riposte and reckoning? Sounds like a great increase of dps

I'm just wondering if you can max out all resists including chaos given The high number if uniques the build uses

Infused channelling needs crazy amount of int which you don't have. That's why i don't have it here.
Riposte is useless because of massive cooldown

Oh I was just thinking to use riposte to keep fortify up all the time since CD is enough for that purpose. Infused channeling doesn't need to be fully leveled just enough to get the infusion since it will boost phys attack for reckoning and def as well . Thnx for replies and I may need to test first in reality and give feedback after lol

Sure, test it out and use whatever you feel you need!

So we're a few days before league start! I will definitely start with this build, going from a normal 1h+shield cyclone glad and transition into this after getting the important uniques (Facebreaker+Abyssus+Rigwalds)! Before getting a Surrender shield, I'll most likely change my Cwdt setup to a 3 link (leaving out Ice Golem) and 4 link Reckoning.
Full budget mode (no flasks active, no jewels, only some random shield, Facebreaker, Abyssus and Rigwalds - no enchants/corrupts), level 65 tree and all gems level 16/0 with maximum 4 links setups makes 180k avg. damage on reckoning (up to 450k dps) and 110k cyclone dps. I guess that's enough to last until I get a Surrender shield and other basic items.
That's pretty alright for having basically nothing else.

I'm just worried about resists. The PoB uses very good boots and a really decent belt. Until we can max out resists with only those 2, we'll have to utilize resist jewels right?
Hey Angry,
Will you update this build for 3.10? And will you maybe add a POB with cheap to endgame gear? Would really like to make this as my starter build.

Do you think its viable as a starter?

I am updating most of my builds for 3.10 (there's about 30 of them so it's a lot of work and time).
The only problem will be getting Surrender early. This league it was beyond expensive, probably because a lot of people played the build. Aside from that it's not really an expensive build to start with. Lycosidae will also be very expensive at league start as usual though. Standard melee items

Yeah I bet you're gonna be super busy :). Thanks for your quick reply!

My question is mostly, as a casual player will this be viable to progress into the maps without those "key"items?
Like when using:
- Reckoning skill in a rare/unique shield as 3 Link with pulverise & brutality?
- Cyclone in 5-6 link
Maxing resists and stack life.

How far would you guess this build will take me using this setup?

This would go far indeed, would be a pretty standard crit cyclone build.

Hi Angry or any out there can help me,
I'm newbie here and like to use this build for my stater in 3.10
And after read all comment from page 1 to 45 there is an question for CWDT combo.
We keep CWDT at lv4 it mean it only support gems with lv44 requirement or lower. I can understand it will cast Tempest Shield (skill gem lv1) and Phase Run (skill gem lv5) but why we leveling Summon Ice Golem to skill gem lv20 (require character lv70), does it really work? Or does I missed something?
Thanks in advance.
