[3.21] 🌿Ultimate Claw Poison Pathfinder - Untouchable Viper - Molten Strike update by FEL

is this build too popular? I literally can't find a single claw with chaos damage on trade.

edit: nvm, the mod I have to look for is different from what it is listed on the weapon.

It seems like such a minor thing, but I notice with my ranger I kill stuff in front me and run through the loot, on the summoner I just rolled it seems like the loot is always behind me (often causing me to miss drops) because my zombies are following.. does that matter/interrupt the flow of farming or am I being silly?

I think you are 100% better off rolling your own claws.

Its really not hard to get a good one with the 4 slot resonator method, and you can resell all the meh ones to people who dont read this guide.

I could have just sit and made bank the entire league crafting mediocre claws and selling them off for 5-6ex, but gathering up fossils and mats is an all day thing, so I never got to play the game. But it was, and is, far too easy for the amount of money people charge for claws. I just kept undercutting the overpricers by 1-2+ ex to get rid of mine to craft more.

I only stopped because I got a couple claws that had everything on them, and I actually wanted to play the game some, instead of sitting and spamming people for fossils and resonators all day; but making useable ones is incredibly easy. Like, I kept a notepad on how often it took to hit a sellable/useable claw: 60% poison, chaos dmg, IaS. All of them were like 2-5 rolls. One took 12; but it was a super good one. The rest would be 2-5 rolls, and then sell it off becuase it didnt have an open prefix.

I'm pretty sure you can just do the exact thing I did and sell them off; I was surprised people were still buying meh claws for 4-6ex this late into the league, but they were. Just keep crafting and selling them until you are happy with what you got. If all you want is one with Ias/Chaos/60%, you probably get one of those super fast with the 4 fossil resonator method.

I've already made my money and my claws doing this, so I have no qualms on telling you how to earn a lot of exalts and claws you want if you can stomach trading for fossils and resonators all day.

But I will say 100% the claws you see up for trade are horrendously overpriced. You are gonna spend like 1-2 exalt max getting a IaS/60%/Chaos dmg, and probably even poison on it becuase its like 30% to show up. If you do the 4 resonator option, the thing that always gets left off is the chaos damage. Its like 30%+ to get Ias and Poison.

Use a 4 socket resonator, corroded, abberant, metallic, and shuddering.

I wouldnt say this if they werent so horrendously overpriced compared to their crafting cost, but they are. Also, its because a site like Craft of Exile exists now, and gives you a clear picture of the best ways to craft things, and the 4 resonator method is just too easy to get these claws for them to be priced that high.

Does anyone know if Low Tolerance actually works with Pestilent? I wanted to try it, but has anyone figured out if it actually works?

I know at the start of the league, people were talking about how good it was, and it was bugged and not even working, lol. So, can anyone actually tell if its working now or not?

I dont see it being that useful if it dont, over just more generic damage and survivability like just running double brush with death/exposure therapy. Maybe it still is, I'm gonna try it once I get a double jewel socket large cluster, but anyone who is using it now is there actually a difference you can tell; Its probably hard to tell without doing some super orb'd maps or simulacrums.

Thank you for this detailed reply. I never crafted before, this is only my second season. I saw that the alchemical resonator is more expensive than the chaotic. Could I buy a crappy rare Claw and just keep reforging it with the chaotic resonator + 4 fossils? Or do I have to upgrade from normal each time?
You can buy the alchemical Resonators, then you have to use an orb of scouring after every failed try to make the claw white (normal) again.

With the chaotic resonators you save yourself the scourinng. Otherwise it's the same thing.

Edit: seems i misread this. The alchemical ones are more expensive? That doesnt make much sense...
In this case just go for the chaotic ones and keep rerolling a rare claw (if you have a normal crafting base upgrade it to rare with an Orb of Alchemy first)

First time killed Sirus AL8 today with this build without Fenumus. Awesome build.

Things are not always this easy. People get lucky with crafts. I personally spent 2 ex on around 20 rolls without hitting the correct combo, not to mention the time spent buying fossils. I gave up and bought decent claws for 5-7 exalts each (added chaos, 60% change to double, 20% IAS and 20% multiplier).
Just a heads up for everyone as dumb as me - you don't need "blind on hit" or any other source of blind with Witchfire Brew flask.
Because the smoke cloud the flask creates, blinds the enemy.
kind of new to this so this may be a dumb question but why is awakened multistrike upgrade from multistrike only showing up as another 500,000 total dps inc poison in path of building? is it missing something or am i? 10% ias and another hit for 60% damage imo should be a huge dps increase

playing pestilent strike version
