is it possible to used cyclone with this build instead of bladestorm, and if so, what would you suggest for the 6-link?
Hey ThatAsianDudee,

It's really easy and seamless to add Cyclone to this build. All the current supports work well with Cyclone. I'd probably try and squeeze in Infused Channelling though. So I'd replace either Brutality or Melee Physical from the 6 links for that. Your choice on the pros and cons though. Otherwise, the 6-link would stay exactly the same!

Hi Wrecker_of_Days,

Firts of all my thanks to you for sharing this awesome build. I came back to PoE after over 1year and luckily could manage to respec my only char, an outdated max block gladiator, to your build.

After getting back feeling with the game (so many new contents), i started to work toward min-maxing my char a bit, as it is the only one i play. I write to you asking for advices on how to further improve.

My gear:
Spoiler

First, as i lacked damage, i switched to the setup suggested in the previous thread by a guy, using impresence and vulnerability curse (very effective setup imho). Then, after reaching lvl 20 on gems i traded them to vendors to get 20% quality, to further increase damage output. Are there other ways to add more? Except buying a better weapon with 180+% increased phys :-P

About defences: even if i reach max block and elementals are over 120% each, i still get one-shot here and there. I could achieve more life pool with 6-link belly, but i don't have the currency yet. And i'm confused about the pantheon. Which are the best choices there, and should we complete the souls of our choice by capturing every minor soul?

Last thing: in the passive tree, as i completed the main path, i started walking towards jewels nodes, to put the remaining points (i plan to level the char even more, now is lvl 91). Is this the correct choice or should we focus on more useful nods? Which one should we work towards?

Again, my thanks to you for your kind advices, and have a nice (quarantined) day :-D
Hey Spartan_339,

Thank you very much! I'm glad you're enjoying the build. Welcome back to PoE!

At a quick glance, your gear is fantastic. You've prioritized the basics of health and resists and have some great implicits too! The shield is obviously perfect. The only thing that could use improvement is your weapon. It's DPS is going to be too low for this new endgame. Its perks are amazing, but it's not going to be strong enough in my opinion. So what you're looking for a sword or axe (one-handed of course) that has %increased physical damage and a flat damage mod too. Something like "(135–154)% increased Physical Damage" and "Adds (14–19) to (29–35) Physical Damage". Both are prefixes. (Those are Tier 3 mods). Anyway, you of course know this, but that's the only thing I noticed.

The problem with max block is that our passive nodes are so spread out, there really isn't much left for more damage mitigation. So hits that aren't blocked hit hard. Fortify is really the only other mitigation we have. You could forgo Berserk and Culling Strike for CoH and Enfeeble, but it obviously comes at a cost. It's unfortunately just one of the pros and cons of the build.

With the Pantheon, it's a great way to make up for the possible one-shots you mentioned. So "1% additional Physical Damage Reduction for each nearby Enemy, up to 8% 1% increased Movement Speed for each nearby Enemy, up to 8%" is one I like. I also really like "While stationary, gain 2% additional Physical Damage Reduction every second, up to a maximum of 8%". I find with Bladestorm I stand still a lot. I honestly don't even think about upgrading my pantheons. I ALWAYS forget. But I find them to be perks for a certain playstyle. So pick what suits how you naturally play.

Jewel nodes are really powerful. They are for sure worth heading towards. Some jewels are worth as much as an entire cluster. Just make sure you're able to keep track of all your jewels. But it's shouldn't be a hard thing to do with one character.

I hope some of this was helpful. I'm sorry I didn't answer every question directly.

Thanks again for your kindness. I hope your quarantine is stress-free as well.

Hey just started the league using this build and it's awesome! Thanks for the build.
One question I have is related to movement, for re-positioning purposes, builds usually allow teleport/dash in the build, but i don't see one here. Is there a suggestion if I want to implement a movement skill in the build - how would you do it to maximize utilization of already utilized nodes, etc without losing too much dps?
Hey Stoutfist,

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the build!

The easiest way to add a movement skill to this build is likely replacing Culling Strike. When you're used to Culling Strike in a build, it's hard to let go, but it's just a perk skill. It's the easiest to replace.

Thanks again for the thanks! Let us know what you choose!

My tankiest character ever... he dies so rarely that I am surprised each and every time he actually does, that it is even possible :D

I need your advice for the ring I am about to craft for him:

There is still one prefix slot open and the crafting bench offers me three options that all look useful to me:

- add (5-7) - (8 - 10) physical damage to attacks

- 17 - 20 % increased damage

- non-channeling skills have -9 - -8 to mana costs

Which one would have the bigger effect, the % damage or the 5 - 10 damage? Would either of them apply to the triggered skills as well?

The reduced mana costs look nice as well. My blade storm in a 6-link costs 33 mana and I have only 95 left unreserved. From time to time the poor chap complains that "his spirit is spent".

That's him.

Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. One-click-wonders that do not require any specific items to conquer the campaign and the Atlas: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2606288/page/1
Had a lot of fun with this build in 3.9 so I am going to see how I do with it in 3.10. Looking forward to diving back in again as soon as the console servers come back online.

Hopefully with all this free time I suddenly find myself having (for the obvious reason) I should be able get this up and running fairly easily so maybe push for more achievements this league.

Thank you as always for the work you put in to your guides it's always appreciated.

Awesome Caligula_Exile!

I'm glad you're enjoying the build so much! That's awesome.

Nice ring! I'd personally go with the added physical damage. All the modifiers that you listed that you're choosing between are global. So they'll all apply to all your triggers as well. I think you'd get a bigger damage increase adding flat damage to all the increased damage % we have on the tree.

Sweet RiverGenie!

It'll be nice to have you around :). I'm excited to hear what you think about the build with all the 3.10 content (either core or league). Thanks for such a kind and encouraging post. I appreciate your time.

Thank you very much, that helped a lot!

I'm very content with the ring now:

And, on top, the flat physical damage was the cheapest solution, only two chaos spheres :)

The next item I am looking for is Warlord-influenced gloves. They can have the affix "culling strike". I think global culling strike for the attack skills, the trigger skills and tempest shield would have an exciting impact on the the overall killspeed.

Have a good time, everyone, stay safe and take care of each others.

I can't copy the passive tree link?

Sexy ring! And an awesome goal for the gloves too! I hope they drop with a decent set of rolls for you!

Let us know how it goes! And you take care as well. Thanks!
