Yep, sadly you're right, I was trying to POB / count the value of the new keystone and it's like half the damage you can easily get with crit. What a disappointment. :( I think only hollow palm will use this.

Actually this build gets a lot of free crit:
4 power charges always up
fractal thoughts
Shaman Dominion anoint
60% inc crit totem mastery
Lethality / Heartseeker / King of the Hill / small nodes before Watchtowers
Diamond flask

Most people have 50%+ crit just with that basic setup.

You can also use the new mark on hit support unlinked with the rest, GGG said it will work by applying mark with any of your attacks without being linked to that attack.

I'm guessing only your attacks, but we'll have to see.

Yeah, EA ballista seems to be the build du jour for whatever reason this league. Not much to do about it.

Edit - After more testing I think my initial assessment was wrong.

Thanks for your regular comments on your two builds. It helps a lot. I plan to start this league with this build, because I already played with the FP build once. Are there any changes planned regarding leveling in this build? Thanks again for everything you do!

If there's anything I wish I had more time for this week it's more leveling testing for the Siege Ballista side of things. I don't think there will be anything wrong with using the current leveling tips since both HFT and WoC got buffed a little (even with the Spell Totem Support nerf). I haven't looked at Zizaran's latest video but it looks like it has a Hierophant-based Explosive Arrow ballistae setup, so that's also probably something worth looking at as I imagine the trees are at least somewhat similar.

is there any way to make this buid more tanky and dont lose too much dps?
Playing without det/grace this days feel a little painfull, maybe some nodes up right for mana reservation?
