PoE2: "Failed to connect to instance"

I was playing the early access with some friends when the game randomly crashed mid session. I just reloaded and I was still in their group but whenever I tried to move to a new area it would say "Failed to connect to instance". I verified the game files and even waited a while for the maps instance to close. But now that I waited 30 min or so I can't even get back into the game without getting the same message as before. "Failed to connect to instance" is there anything I can do that might fix this or am I going to have to delete my character and start a new one?

If there's anything that can be done please let me know. This is extremely vexing.

I'm having the same issue. I am currently waiting on the game to reinstall to see if that fixes anything. Will report back shortly

Same issue whenever I try to travel anywhere. I installedthe game on Steam this morning but played from the GGG launcher yesterday. Not sure if that matters

im getting this bug rn its hella annoying was 40m into a playthrough and my game freezes and when i load back up it tells me it cant load the instance. I made a new witch and it did the same thing 5m in. I verified my files and then it loaded in but crashed instantly.

same here, my guess i the instance server has crashed, it will kick you and put you back of queue

So wait for some downtime im peeved as i was in 2nd last room of the trial to get my ascendency lol

After server restart tried to enter game and was kicked after failed to connect to instant server twice now.

Reinstalling fixed the issue for me in the short term. So far so good
