POE 2 bloodmage - spell leech not working

Also please rework Sanguinmancy, I mean you could literally kill yourself by casting spells and it becomes worth as you use higher level spells with ever increasing mana/life cost.

Currently Blood Mage is simply unplayable.

I found that leech works just fine for me in ACT 1, where mobs are weaker.
For a single hit against one minion i leech around 40-50 HP

After teleporting to atc 2 / 3 (area lvl 26, 36) leech is gone.
With the same spell, single hit leech 1 to 3 HP

I am lvl 45

Currency changes are great, but Blood Mage ascendancy cripples my gameplay... :|

My tooltip of frost bomb says 1850-2776 damage.
Exposure effect modifier 30%
Cold res penetration: 65%
So I would expect the real damage to be at least 3k per hit

I hit with said skill 2 minions while I put away all life regen nodes and was far away to get the orb from killing monster

Now what I would expect is to leech 10% of 3000 so ~300 (I mean skill costs 100 to cast)

What did I leech instead of 300?

For casting skill that takes 100hp to cast I get 20 back for hitting 2 enemies. THis is beyond broken and putting 2 ascendancy points to get like 200 hp on boss fight where I need to spend 1k hp to even deal damage feels like the only way to play is to use flasks which is making bloodmage like it would've been better WITHOUT ascendancy

Cherry on top, Crit Per Max life doesn't seem to work either. I had 200% crit damage, got the node, still have 200% crit damage.

Looks like about 50% of the nodes in the ascendancy actually do nothing. Gore spike 0%, Sunder the flesh 0%, Blood barbs, elemental damage not giving bleed magnitude. Haven't tried crimson power yet, but considering none of the other ones work Id probably guess that one is broken too.

Sad 20 hours in and I have to reroll because I RNG'd the broken ascendancy.

Same issue. Just complete trial of the sekhemas in cruelty act 2. And I simply have nowhere to spend passives. at least Grasping Wounds work fine

This is true, i gain life back because of gear by killing enemies not leech from spell as bloodmage

Im also having a major issue with life cost way too high.. and I cant leech life with my spell damage due to a bug in the game

has to be fix asap
