Why take the mastery that give minimum warcry power of 10? Autoexertion makes it so we don't get the buff from the warcry, and the power scales the buff, so why do we want a minimum power of 10?

Having run this as a starter I had to make a few adjustments early to the tree.
Mana was such an issue in my levelling and early maps that I had to take "Spirit of War" notable near Unwavering Stance instead of the Cannibalistic Rite for some mana leech. (Will say I hate running an enduring mana flask even if it works to fix the issue.) Later I can see how mana can be overcome by using -x mana on non-channelled skills, or mana leech on gear. Other than this sockets were slightly rough and still is but have just gotten to maps (Not a fast player, and I am more interested in understanding the build than rushing.) Build is a blast despite my rough findings in the campaign! |

Any suggestion on weapon choice?
I am looking to find a solution for higher attack speed |

" Really isn't any. Play what you want, but the eventual setup is +2 exertion hammer. They outperform any other base in this context by miles. |

Been playing this since Friday, I'm lvl 87 now. My observations:
1. Build is fun! I love the feeling of zooming around for free. Not yet at the point where I can cap the spell block chance, so not super tanky, but just the regen and spell suppress makes me decently tanky. 2. I find it not easy to manage the banner buffs. The problem is I can't keep track of which banners have been placed vs. expired, because I'd have to look at top of screen for the buff icons or bottom right for the banner skills. I'm still not used to that, so I end up cancelling banners often. 3. Visual clarity is a bit of an issue for me. I'm running Herald of Purity, so between the minions, the merc, the warcries constantly going off, the slam and explosions, plus being in melee range of everything, it's sometimes hard to see what's going on. I guess that might just mean my damage is not high enough to clear packs off screen? But I'm also running so fast so before I know it, I'm already in the face of packs. 4. I sure hope there's some more avenues to scale attack speed. Right now my Earthshatter is 1 sec per cast basically. The Berserkers' attack speed (seen on twitch streams) just seems a lot more satisfying and comfy. As soon as I switched into Earthshatter from Econc I realized I have to take Unwavering Stance. 5. The warcry cooldown is really key for the build to feel good to play. I farmed Merc Lab for like half a day to get all the warcry gem qualities. Before that it felt very slow and a bit clunky to wait for valor to build up. As you can tell I'm a bit of a noob so not really much useful feedback/suggestion here. Perhaps some of this is helpful for others looking at the build. |

" 2: It's coming to me with playtime as instinct. But that's understandable. 3: You might want to go without HoP. I don't know your specific character, but I'm going without it in favor of Flesh and Stone and Pride so that until I work on my setup more, I have less on the screen. Visual clarity is survivability. 4: There's not much point in scaling attack speed beyond the passives and a roll on weapon (maybe gloves). If you outscale your exertion uptime, you gain functionally no extra damage, which means you're investing into a stat that gives superficial QoL, but no actual throughput. |

What is so great about Chains of Emancipation exactly?

" Life, chaos resistance, and permanent curse immunity. It turns a lot of map mods into free quantity, means that you don't have to go -1 passive point on ele weakness reduction, stabilizes your damage intake with vulnerability and the like... and most importantly, it means no temporal chains. The build is so fast with movement speed that being afflicted by temporal chains throws off your rhythm. For these reasons, I have the impression that it's a superior choice for mapping. But, if setting up for devoted bossing as this character absolutely delivers on damage or wanting a swap for more life when doing occasional bosses, a crafted leather belt would do. And, of course, I'm sure Mageblood or Ryslatha's would be even better, but they're definitely a bit out of reach for SSF. Última edição por seikikoo#3400 em 19 de jun. de 2025 15:45:20

Would you mind uploading a video or two with the character? From the PoB it looks very promising, but I personally have never played earthshatter and from a few tries it seems attack speed is rather low. Also the struggle is real with the manacost if your warcries go off every few seconds. Most of the time when I tried it, I can't attack with earthshatter because mana wasn't restored. This caused a loop where I was only able to attack every 3-4 seconds.
Just to make sure, since warcry is automated, we just piano the banners when the buff runs out, other than that, earthshatter all the time. Also, Runegraft of the Warp seems to be an option if you can get your hands on it. 30% more uptime sounds pretty good. Última edição por Camatoo#7023 em 23 de jun. de 2025 12:05:33
