AMD Andrenalin driver error message on loading into login screen

You’re not coming across as credible right now. If you hadn’t resorted to insults, you would have had more ground to stand on. Instead, you sound unreasonable especially with all the emojis. That kind of behavior comes off as class-A trolling.

Furthermore, downgrading comes with other consequences

Security Vulnerabilities, Older drivers may lack patches for known exploits.
Lost Performance: Newer games or apps may run worse without optimizations from recent updates.

Missing Features, lose access to updated AMD Software tools, FSR improvements, or hardware support

System Instability, If the old driver isn’t fully compatible with Windows 11 24H2, you could face crashes or bugs in other applications.

You will need to revert your driver prior to the range described on the error.

GGG isn’t taking full accountability because they’re blaming AMD drivers (25.10.2–25.12.1) instead of admitting a game side bug.

But the truth is:

PoE2 worked fine on those drivers before update 0.4.
Switching to DirectX12 fixes the crash, proving it’s a Vulkan rendering issue in the game.
Other games run perfectly your system isn’t the problem.
Players are furious because GGG

Offers no patch, only workarounds.
Ignores that downgrading drivers reintroduces system crashes they were meant to fix.
Shifts blame while calling it “known behavior.”
This is on GGG and the community knows it.
same problem, its not possible to downdrade for resolve....no comment!!!!
Fix your game instead of blaming AMD. It was working fine before the update. Comedy and incompetence.
This issue occurs on Windows 11. On Linux, the issue does not occur and the game can be played using Vulkan without problems.

On Windows 11, loading screens behave normally when using DirectX 12.

The same behavior is present in Path of Exile 1. When using DirectX 12, loading screens are normal; when using Vulkan, loading times are slow

After messing around, I found a fix that works without touching your drivers

Go to:
Documents > My Games > Path of Exile 2
Open the file called poe2_production_Config.ini in Notepad.
Look for this line:
renderer_type=Vulkan
Change it to:
renderer_type=DirectX12
Save the file (Ctrl + S), close it, and launch the game as Administrator.
That’s it. No DDU, no clean installs, no losing RSR or FSR. I’ve been playing smooth ever since.

This isn’t an AMD problem — it’s a PoE2 Vulkan bug introduced in 0.4. The fact that switching APIs fixes it proves that. GGG needs to stop deflecting and actually patch their game.
Not rolling back drivers.
