[2.4] How to smash Heads. Extremely detailed guide about the Facebreaker gloves and builds!
Thank you ;)
I understand you perfectly ... finding a good physical damage + mana leech is .. difficult.. but not imposible. Just keep looking you'll find what you need eventualy. If you havn't cappped your resistances i'd suggest to do it now via the passive tree. This should e your top priority ( alongside with block chance but you already have block :) ), life comes second, armour - third. " 1. If i'm strong, why not have an army of minions? makes the gameplay much more enjoyable. I have a main that uses DB exclusively. My facebreaker can do that just as well, with less duration. I like to keep my survivability up instead of losing 10% xp 2. That is pretty much situational. I can imagine that having an army of 75+ minions, then yes it can be cumbersome. (actual dps with dominating blow is 30 k) 3. of course, then there's no need of culling strike if that's the case. 4. Minions can be great at any level (of the maps of course) 5. I get more lag with a full party than DB minions (using a lappy haha). 6. Mana issues are not a problem with blood magic gem. The facebreaker with life leech will do the job just as fine. It can be deterent if the player keeps spamming DB without hitting with no enemies around. |

" Actually if you use db you may as well use determination or another aura of choice since you will have the full mana pool at your disposal. Última edição por kompaniet em 7 de dez de 2013 11:58:18

would frenzy be good for single target at the early stages? or do you just go with IB for everything?
What if you can't afford a meginord's? |
|
IB all the way ... frenzy lacks the .. well.... it lacks pretty much everything - damage, aoe, life (because you need to waste points to get extra frenzy charges). This is equaly true for low AND for high levels .. so really IB all the way

" What would you substitute in if you couldn't afford a meginord's? %phys dmg belt? |
|
Well if you can't afford meginord.. anything with high life + resists . the X% physical damage won't do much. Using Wurm's Molt is a good way to aquire life and mana leech so that would be a good choice too

Yeah wurm belt is nice. I saw someone recommending that instead of meginord on a previous page.
From one thing to another. I just did a lvl 71 temple map with a really deadly roll. -18% maximum player resists, 3 additional projectiles and double boss. It is the piety lightning boss on that map. It was dangerous but i did it. Killed them both. Not many builds can handle that i think. That's what this great build is capable of 8) I also killed the spider boss in jungle valley map and the warping totem boss in waste pool map or is it cells? Can't remember. Seems like this build has no problems with anything heheh. Última edição por kompaniet em 7 de dez de 2013 19:37:43

Awesome build and guide!
For anyone wondering if the nerfed Facebreaker's are viable.. yes! I am at 28k dps with a 793 FB. Currently doing 7x maps, I cleared Poorjoy's Asylum map without dying. I'm running Hatred + Tempest shield. I used BoR until I had a 6L chest. my gear:
