Let's talk about the future PoE 4.0.0 expansion...

Improve (not replace; not going to happen) their engine, better performance and new animations/models.

In addition, I would REALLY like a better guild/social system:
- More roles
- Ability to share stash tabs with people
- Guild events/races with "crowd funded in-game rewards"
- Ctrl+click items to/from the guild stash
- Ability to move stash tabs in guild stash
- Guild hideout
- Guild announcements ("Player A is the first one in your guild to reach point B in League")
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
Good as place as any to remind GGG how much I hate the Lab.
4.0 might end up being a total disaster. (More likely than not imo)

The way Chris has been hyping this as a game-changer and to compete with next generation arpgs...boy I hope they do have "something"

What are we 6-7 months away? 3.8 & 3.9?

It's like knowing a plane need to make an emergency landing, has dumped all its fuel, and only has one shot to bring it in.

I'm super curious as to what will happen. Even if PoE dies, maybe that will be doing me a mercy after all these years lol.

Why do people think they have 6 months? They said countless times that after 3.9 comes 3.10 and after that maybe even 3.11. They wont give us 4.0 untill they are ready.

Outside of steam...
My hopes include the following

*Rework for melee (again) especially pertaining to the issues of mana cost and -mana cost gear being practically required for all melee

*Removing or un-nerfing the multistrike support as it is now not only garbage performance, but is extremely clunky, awkward, and a dps loss in most cases compared to even a fortify support

*Changes to casting/selfcast spells that are mostly unused (looking at skills like Flameblast for example) to make more skills at least semi-relevant

*Delve rework(shared sulphite, slower/lower sulphite costs, etc.

*Some sort of mechanic to incentivize using a variety of map types and bases so people don't farm 1 map over and over until they hate life (looking at you Glacial/BC)

*Many new map types including dynamic/changing maps so each run doesn't feel the same

*Better/More detailed item tooltips (eg: *Lioneye's Remorse, 5/6 Link*)

*Extreme and brutal trimming of Lab enchants (Lets be real 95% or more of them could be removed entirely and nobody would miss them)

*Heavy buffs to the increased item RARITY stat so as to make it more useful (eg: have it apply to currency/number of sockets on dropped items) so that IIQ isn't the only thing to exist

*Significantly better items for league uniques, including items with variations only obtainable during the league itself, like alternate art.

*Exclusive rewards for completing challenges on SSF and/or hardcore modes of a league, because currently its just for funsies but I feel it has alot of wasted potential

*Perhaps a system of level scaling leveling/story zones to use them as special map difficulties, I do miss me some ledge

*Removal of *fluff* stats in the game (eg stun/block recovery that solely exist to devalue an item)

*Rolling buffs to the least used uniques/skills, overall drop rate decrease for the most commonly seen uniques, make them seem at least somewhat special

*Zoom out more

*New item slots/skill slots

*Please no more HH league

*God buff raider its so sad rn

I've seen the future, and the future is Pants

Templar with pants? Blasphemy.

Then call me a Blasphemer, I refuse to change my forum avatar until we get PANTS.
Hell, I would settle for a kilt at this point frankly.

Ugh! PoE Immortal... NEVER... NEVER... NEVER! Also STUPID... STUPID... STUPID! But no worries as GGG would never be as dumb as Blizzard.

All I want is PoE seller app on smart phone so sellers can connect to buyers 24/7 from anywhere we have a link to a cell tower. GGG can keep trade chat and the buyer invite to the seller's hideout all they want. As long as the seller can conduct the trade from a smart phone then the "where the hell is the seller" is eliminated (mostly) and trading is fixed. Of course the smart phone app is just for sellers, buying still requires the current in-game WTB whispering. If GGG was smart about this (instead of Chris just face-palming in responce to the Baeclast podcast question on the state of trading... come on GGG forum moderators, pass this idea on up the chain to the top devs please), the app could allow an automated response such as "sleeping now, please WTB me again at xx:00 time", or anything the seller wants to inform the buyer as to when to WTB for that item again when the seller is available to invite and trade. 21st century gaming should leverage 21st century technology.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat:
