Regarding the Minotaur, I just did the Minotaur in my last Slow-Mo Zombies session. If you go to the one hour mark of my last video in the Zombie playlist you'll get an idea of how it goes. It's one of those fights that you really have to learn because the boss's attacks can be dictated in a way. those that aren't familiar with the battle will quickly spread his lightning (which slows and weakens), his "rock slides", and his dive all over the map so that there isn't anywhere safe to hide. So the key is to stay as close a possible (without getting hit cause we're not tanky). Stay close but always try and stay behind him. His AoE slam is mostly in front of him. His dive (which is really hard to see with minions) happens mostly when we distance ourselves from him. His "rock falls" can't be stood in :(.) So, if you have to move away from him, hopefully, you'll be able to notice where he used to be. When I distance myself from him I don't normally see where he is, so I just assume he's diving. If you can guess where he's diving from remembering that he doesn't change directions underground. It's a straight-line dive. So try and move perpendicular to his starting point. When you no longer fear the dive, you will find the fight easy to deal with.

Don't worry. At last you will be victorious and the Minotaur will fall.
Hey mitbanomen. What Caligula_Exile said. ;). If the quote doesn't make sense I'd be happy to try and clarify. All guardian bosses take time to figure out. It may seem like a waste short term, but doing those bosses on white maps will help you master the mechanics of the battle easier and know what mods to avoid for the future (like increased AoE for the Phoenix or multiple projectiles for the Hydra).

I kind of know what you mean tbh I have tried crafting convoking wands to better the ones I am using atm
but even fossil crafting, bench, essences, slamming 50 chaos orbs into 1 wand still haven't come close to getting anything better and consistently have 3 minion mods at best
that is the best I have managed to craft this week :(

hello again. its been awhile. commander of darkness does not seem to add the 20% to elemental rez. when i turn on hatred. any ideas why?
Always a pleasure Kingx. I'm pretty sure I saw someone answer this for you but anyway, Hatred (not Blasphemy Auras) will give you the perks of Commander of Darkness under normal circumstances. But to make Hatred stronger for our ally minions, we linked Generosity to Hatred. Generosity removes Hatred's effects on us and thus removes Hatred as an aura that affects us.

Hatred is turned into an aura that only affects allies(minions) so you dont have it on yourself to trigger the 20% res. I got around this by using an unset with clarity lvl 1. does not need to be any higher as its just used to set off the resistances.
Edit: I have my old one your welcome to if needed just send me a message in game, has resistances and T1 life on it may help.
I figured out why I had 130-150% resists... I was standing next to my necro buddy and getting his Ascendancy and hatred buff as well!
So I guess I don't need the 20% from ascendancy, think I'll work on turning that extra res into chaos res... I do not need more damage ;)
Just a reminder that we don't want Hatred to affect us. If Hatred affects you, you'll be hitting enemies with cold damage which will give enemies 25% cold resists to our minions' cold damage.

Got up, showered, made an omelet, killed minotaur!
Sweat a little, got hit twice and shocked.
Stayed mostly behind him and close, but it was REAL easy!
Also cleared chimera and hydra easy, but phoenix got me twice(2 deaths). F that guy!
Oh well, on to red elder, now that atlas is mostly done, I can buy maps and chase him easy and then beat him in a magic map! Suck it elder I'm coming for you!
Spoiler alert: If you beat shaper and then chase elder to shapers map, you don't get uber elder, YOU MUST beat red elder first! Learned this last league and my Ngamahus flame cyclone had no range for an uber elder fight. Good luck!
I would say this is hardcore viable THIS LEAGUE (I know necros getting rip'd)
I only die when I expect to, which isn't that often, and usually my fault.
Ha ha ha. The Phoenix battle wasn't your fault. Your omelet power ran out before the battle was over. Next time make an Uber Omelet, then you be dancing. (Good job on the guardians!)
If you're into HC, I'd do the Fortify version of the build.

Yea, minions are so amazing this league, have always been my league starter my only hope is rather than gutting them at worst they are equally as strong as they were before and not weaker.
This league has got me many firsts. First... Char to lvl 96, Elder kill, Uber elder, Deathless Uber Elder, Deathless Uber Atzari and drops allowing aiming for hitting 30/40 achievements.
My build did end up breaking away from slow mo zombies, but all the experience and information gained playing this build for multiple leagues was the foundation that allowed it transitioned into a high life/regen spectre/zombie build with Vaal Skele for blight control

I always aim for 5000+...that is if you're referring to Life and not ES. Typically, with 160%+ on the tree and 80+ life on all your gear, hitting 5000 isn't that hard. BUT, you still want to pretend you're a glass cannon unless you go more aggressive and add Fortify.
But only non-summoners will tell you that 5000 is still too low. 5000+ is your goal in my opinion.

does anyone of you still have need for a vaal skeleton gem? I have 3 of them to spare, all of them fully leveled to 20 (quality: 0/zero %, 9 % and 14 %). Blight league. For free, of course. If anyone needs one of them, just let me know in this forum or whisper me ingame (Caligula_Exile).
I was lucky to find a 19 % quality version of the vaal skeletons. And unlucky to find it after having already leveled the 3 above mentioned gems. Well, progress takes effort, I guess :)
One question: What's your strategy to get a good convoking wand? Spamming chaos orbs on rare wands? Multimodding with the crafting bench? I do not trade, so I need to find a way to create a good one on my own.
That's the one I actually use:
I have the impression that convoking wands have been nerfed secretly... in the first weeks of the league I just used an alchemist orb on a convoking band and the result contained almost every time 2 - 4 creature mods. Since a couple of days the results are rather disappointing... zero creature mods, sometimes 1 creature mod. Is it just me or do you have experienced something similar?
I too found that the beginning of the league was more fruitful than now. But who knows it's just chance or not. I have had pretty bad luck with Convoking wands as well.
In regards to crafting, I only bother touching Convoking Wands that are level 81 or higher as the minion mods highest tiers are unlock at 81 (82 for Essences).
I craft everything but VERY RARELY go crazy. If this is your favourite character of all time, you can use your regal orbs. Get a normal Convoking wand, and make it magic...over and over until you get a minion roll that excites you. Then Regal it and hope for the best (you always keep the magic mods when you use a Regal). Regals aren't as common as Alchs or Chaos.
If you like to play lots of builds and want to save your currency, just use an Alchemy on every wand that drops.
If you decide to use some Chaos orbs on one, watch out for rolls that give you a minion mod(s) and have space for another prefix to be added on.
And don't forget, Einhar lets you do some neat things with suffix and prefix too.
I save my currency because of all the build changes I do each league so that's what I do.
(If you use an Essence of Fear, you may as well only use it on a Convoking wand as well.)

Ok so I have the shaper keys.
I spread elder all over red maps and he spawned.
That took me to 80% and I said... hmmmmmmm maybe I can hit 95, let me go talk to Niko.
Mwaaahahahaaaaa, had 16000 delve dollars, coasted to 95!
So I guess Red elder, shaper, maybe uber elder tonight!
Feels good man, and a fresh level so I can play stress free and not worry about dying... ahhhhhhhhh right where I want to be!
This is definitely going to be a HoGM try this league.
With Phys, elemental and chaos damage, all I have to do is live :)
