Necropolis is the 2nd the worst retention League of all time: GGG can't understand their limits
" The goblin pet was a mistake. Every time I hear that thing in a town, even when I escape from it to my hideout and only hear half of the sound file I still get insanely triggered by it. Literally give us an option to disable all MTX on other players already, also give us heisting in hideout that would solve all the rogue harbor problems. And yeah rogue harbor is borderline unplayable because of the 1230587097 mtx people have. |

allowing ultra trivial things to spike your cortisol levels is A, bad for you, it accelerates the aging process among other undesirable health side effects. and B is an adopted response that you're fundamentally in charge of (which most people seemingly don't realize, I didn't until I was in my late 30's), you can choose to not allow things to trigger you, especially incredibly trivial things. It takes practice but slowly becomes easier and easier to master. Adapting to adversity large or small, in other ways than allowing yourself a stress response will also have many other positive benefits over time.
Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. |

" Don’t blame this to Tencent, GGG has been doing that through ages. |

compasses were better cause any fool could roll something usefull sextants were very affordable and available, 1 scarab per league mechanic meant at least 4 good league mechanics were on the map + some buffs via sextants even on a budget (magic pack size + unidentified pack size were great on a budget) now you must use all 4 slots with 1 league mechanics or it is not worth at all
PoE1 3.23 - the best league of all time (an absolute banger)
---- PoE2 0.2f - a bit better, but PoE1 atlas is a million times better than PoE2 atlas |

'twas a hit and a miss for me.
I feel like the scarab changes are for the better, it's much easier to buy scarabs in bulk than trying to get sextants in bulk, plus I like the idea of farming one thing only with 4 scarabs. Question is how will they stand on their own without allflames and necro modifiers - i feel like they are gonna be ... not that great. What bummed me the most was them nerfing loot explosion mechanics. I said it at the time and it still holds - it took them a week to fix it so the league was already f***ed, why just not leave it alone so that even an average joe that might have been just getting ready to try it have some fun too, not just the early nolife exploiters. The league was already dying by then (.1 patch) Otherwise, I had fun while it lasted - i tried like 8 builds this league. Also was making currency pretty consistently - such that I could spend 50-80divs for each build switch. Still not a no-life level of earning but compared to most of the friends that also play - I am their sugar daddy now xD Haven't played fo real in line 14+ days now, just logged in this week to buy a mageblood - also a first for me, but it doesn't feel like an achievment in a league where everyone and their grandma has one, and not for 80d. If I had 5 div more it could've even been a foil xD So overall - hit and miss. I just managed to do most stuff I expected out of a league in the shortest amount of time ever. |

" Lol no you don't "choose" to be annoyed by something annoying. It's annoying by definition. That goblin pet spam being in every town has just made the game worse. Players don't have to adapt to every single bad aspect of the game, those things should be fixed with future patches in a game like this. This argument of "just x,y or z bro its fine" that people use towards any complaint about the game at all is getting old real fast. |

The main Redditors argument is that
"It doesn't count anymore because the league is over" Still; My request is "please, GGG, charge leagues for few dollars instead of trying to kill my eyes and my wrist" Started second overall with 190k players (Kalandra started with 152k) ![]() |

Regardless of the league content, people generally play. I actually enjoyed the bit I played.
IMO people are simply fed up of the abysmal performance that seemingly gets progressively worse every patch; combined with a coin flip of whether or not it just completely bricks the game for you or not each time. You only have to look at the multiple 100+ page posts that keep coming league after league with zero response or communication of any kind. For me, the game has been unplayable since the May 1st 'hotfix' literally halved my fps on restarting the client... It's actually laughable at this point that a company doesn't even respond once to any of them, this is the killer for me, instead throws MTX sales in your face every few days. No I'm not buying more MTX for a game that doesn't work half the time I try to run it. I used to play until the last day of every league, these days I get a week or 2 before some patch just breaks it and I give up. |

OP, i fully agree with your post but given the inane amount of issues regarding this league, i doubt they are going to be able to change anything, they just gonna ride with it into the sunset.
Is not just normal, casual players who called it quits, big time content creators also, and the word is out there. I just don't know what they cna do at this point to improve this league, and they have 2 months to go still, this is gonna be a barren town isn't it?

" there's an entire branch of science around how stress works and Endocrinology (hormones) you should look into it. I did when I believed as you do and it was world changing.
