[0.9.13] Kripparrian's Bow Templar Build
It seems that the build ends around the level 65.
Is it viable to take the three nods on the left for dual totem ? I mean will I have enough gem socket on gear ? Maybe I should stick with Decoy totem/curse and find an other way in the passive tree for 65+ (reduce mana cost for auras and take lightning arrow abose the lvl 1 ?). |

" As a side note, while it is not the best method possible, you can maybe make use of the extra weapons tab. Put 2 weapons or a wep/shield combo there, and socket them with totems. When you need them, hit X, lay down totems, hit X to return back to your main weapon. Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.

I didn't thought about that switch, thanks for the tip Venator.

" I have no idea why you would post these items as the ultimate ones for this build. The bow is slow, mainly physical and encourage close combat. The gloves provide nothing special besides the +45 dex and there are better rings out there for this build. " That does not work. The totems will despawn as soon as you swap back to your main weapon. This is the build I use at the moment at level 73:
As you can see, i really reached out a bit to get the extra +30dex node in the Witch area. This also will give me access to 4 more life nodes If I ever reach 2 or more levels before OB hits. Getting enough Dex really was a problem, until I got some decent gear:

Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Indisponível Really, Decoy totem is the crutch of this build it really makes tight packs of monsters to fully take advantage of Lightning arrow and it keeps the heat of you, making map bosses a laugh really... using poison arrow right now, as I cant seem to trade or find elemental hit. it Does works wonders of elemental reflect mobs though.. Now close to 800 Lightning arrow damage and close to 2900 life. 2300 mana, 1500 after reserved. Don't Touch my Sweep please GGG!

When should you switch to lightning arrow and what skills besides decoy totem, elemental hit, and lightning arrow should you use? Support info on the above? I would love if somebody could give some nice details.

Also should I go north or south on the skill tree first?

You need the dmg auras in place and still have somewhat decent mana to be able to shoot LA a couple times. Of course you need Chain (or Fork if you don't have Chain yet) and preferably LMP, too.
As for where to go first in the skill tree, here is what I did: I played melee on normal. A little while after that, being melee started out to be more dangerous. This is the crucial time. If you want to stay melee longer, Id say it's best to make your way to the marauder section first, making you tougher. Of course this delays eldritch battery even longer. I switched to LA, just grabbed Resolute Technique and made my way to EB. I skilled the additional life and regen afterwards. This worked out well, since once you play as ranged you don't need that much defense anymore. Última edição por Unimatrix#6268 em 8 de jan. de 2013 23:29:23

" go south first. I simply used Lightning arrow with added fire damage for the first 30 levels or so, drinking Blue potions like mad, but it works. Skip all the Energy shield passives in the beginning and get Resolute technique first. then round out the marauder nodes before going to long way up to EB. Edit: now up to 1027 DPS with a new ring:

Indisponível now I only need a little better Cold resists to have 80 res all. This character is a bit hard to level on earlier on, but just hang in there. once you get Lightning arrow+fork, it will go a lot easier, and once you have enough mana pool to support lightning arrow+chain, the OP will commence... This build will for sure be nerved in some sort of way, as I think it kills even faster than a spork build on the right maps.. we'll see, Chain might get a hit, Shock might be nerfed, or we might need to spec to a Ice or poison build..
