[0.9.13] Kripparrian's Bow Templar Build

trying this build now....seems to me the lack of dex really hurts getting bows due to the lack of dex points

im only like lvl 12 so got a bit of a way to go good thing i have a lvl 40+ ranger that gets me some gear

Early game (as your first character) can be quite tough, I agree! Whenever you get a good bow, and the required dex for it, you'll see an insane increase in both damage and fun :3

Also, I agree that this build is probably getting nerfed. It's too crazy what chained LA does to packs. There isn't much that can even hope to compete with it.

It's not the easiest char to equip with all the needed auras and preferably mana reduce on them plus dex requirements etc., but it is still outstandingly strong - possibly too strong.

Like previously mentioned by Unimatrix, it's all about the gear! Dexterity as a modifier can be found in every possible slot except for belts and some weapons (that you won't be using anyway, since you'll be rolling with a bow+quiver).

Haha, that's a given no matter what build you decide to go for! But there are certain "ways" of not sucking early game on a new character! One being that both the templar and marauder can get the lightning strike gem-reward from Brutus (on normal). With a mediocre weapon and that gem in action, you should be good to go for quite a while ♥

Of course! As you can see in this summary of this build:

You're only getting 44 dexterity through the passive skills; and my current lightning arrow templar has 179 dex and that's with insanely crappy gear. The bow with the most requirement needs 212 dex, and it's definitely achievable with above-average gear. You might have to self-tailor some items (for example the necklace, since it can give you tons of dex), but other than that, you should be meeting the requirements by just killing monsters.

A good way to get dex as a bow user is to get a Light Quiver (I think) since it has implicit dex and can roll dex on top of that.
