Why have you stopped playing?

Because RoS is way better than this game now, by a long way.

I was looking forward to crafting but "orbs" and gold is one and the same in this game. That spoils the game for me.
How is that any different than if you'd have to BUY the Orbs for Gold? GGG just takes a step out, and creates an interesting Currency/Economy in the process.. <3

Yes it makes for an interesting economy but does fuckall for crafting, which was the point.

thinking the same way since yesterday. Having a blast with RoS atm. Rewarding, challenging, fun.
Hm.. taking a break because of two issues I have with the game:

1) I really dislike magic find as an item stat and still think it's a horrible design.
2) While a lot of the unique items are interesting, most of the ones you find on a regular basis are boring... for me there is just no real excitement when I see a unique item drop, which was one of the things that made me addicted to Diablo 2.

But I will probably give the game another shot soon. Refuse to buy RoS until I can get it for 15€ or so..
I'm quitting because this game is so good, I'm playing it instead of working on my thesis.

But I'll be back. Likely in 1 hour.
Please don't PM me ingame with filter/guide questions, post them on the forum, after reading the FAQ.

Too much RNG.

GGG only listening to the no-lifers, not the rest of the community which probably acounts for over 80%.

Trading is horrible.

Crafting is way too RNG, even worse now with Vaal Orbs. (clever way to kill legacy items tho)

XP loss from server instability - thats so much fun. Love losing 2 hours of progress when the server spikes/desyncs.

Could list a lot of things but the game is designed to reward lucky players and those who have no fucking life. Otherwise it's a pretty boring time-sink that is only fun when you get lucky.

Its like sitting at a slot machine, but with worse chance of hitting a jackpot. And instead of putting in a few bucks, it just drains your time until you dont even want to pull the arm because playing for the jackpot only is NOT fun.

I am absolutely not against trading but you should try Self-found (if you fancy playing the game again). It will solve a lot of your concerns. Or atleast attempt to solve them.
Jackpots come in many shapes and sizes if you exclude trading from your gameplay :)
Just for try for see and for know -2013!

She corpse exploded the corpse of the boss...

Playing self-found, only solves one of his issues: "The Trading", but none of the other ones

You can still get lucky or unlucky ofcourse but the goalposts move when SF. You find yourself getting "lucky" a ton more often from my experiences. Mainly because the "luck" we're talking about doesnt just revolve around finding high-value uniques and godly items.

I played complete, 100% SF, and found no excitement in going 20+ levels without a single upgrade. The whole reason to play ARPGs is for loot.
how my friends left this game:
right click game, everything is the same
can't right click - skip
ure 70 lvl. and see only 100- 1h dps drops per 20 lvls
@_inQontrol lvl 100 Ambush
