Made it to Merciless Ledge. Saw how slowly the experience was coming, and decided I'd had enough fun once I hit level 56. Furthest I've ever gotten in this game, both level-wise and content-wise, in almost four months of play...

Can't say I like it much past the midpoint of Cruel, if I'm honest. It's certainly nothing I'm used to. When I played Diablo 2, I think the furthest I got was somewhere in mid-Nightmare, and maybe one character broke through to Hell difficulty, but I stopped playing that character once I saw just how much nastier the monsters were on Hell difficulty.

Don't know if I'll push this deeply into the game content again; it was becoming a straight-up chore for me around mid- to late-Act 3 Cruel.

Still, never say never; prior to this race I'd fought Dominus exactly once, and badly. Now I've fought him twice more, in Normal and Cruel. I'll definitely be treating Normal a bit more casually. :)
