More life > more regen, plus you get evasion % from the ranger nodes.

Hey, thanks for the build. Having fun leveling it right now in Tempest.

I'm following your recommended HC tree and have a question. Why do we take Master of the Arena? Is 1% health regen and 20 Strength really worth that much? I understand that not all passives need to be 100% efficient, but wasting the melee phys damage and melee range seems like an awful lot.

Also, giving up Corruption and the nodes around it seems like a huge loss of damage. Is it at all a good idea (particularly in Tempest and having in mind that I don't plan to use Blood Rage because I'd like to be extra safe) to give up the extra Frenzy charge nodes and go for Corruption instead?

Thanks again.

It's there in case you decide to run Blood Rage in HC. Since you aren't, you can drop Master of the Arena.

Frenzy charges are way more potent than going for Corruption. You'll want to run a curse-on-hit setup of some variety (temp chains, enfeeble, vuln if you're feeling badass) so you'll have good uptime on your charges. Remember, FC's are *more* damage, not increased. It's easier to grab two FC's than go up to Corruption, which allows you to spec into better defenses either through jewels, life nodes, faster acro/phase, etc.

Ok i followed your advice and had even MORE luck with drops, now my hp is 4335 and i think i could bring to 4500.

You were right it was not matter of acro vs IR, i had just too low hp.

I will stay acro cause survivability is good now, the irony is now that i have a proper mf gear i have less good drops but those are the ways of RNG.

Ty for tips, good luck and happy gaming.

Really enjoying this build, level 88 and climbing.

Tooltip DPS says 21,030 cloud
20/300 with gem
3900 hp (I need more life nodes, will be grabbing as I level higher)

I was really hoping to incorp another jewel... but I think I need the life more.

BTW, I love brinerot whalers! 38 proj dmg OP

I don't mean to be harsh on your setup, but some advice:

The Brinerot Whalers aren't a terribly great decision. You're already lacking life off the chestpiece in order to get quantity and I'm assuming with the 20 quantity you've mentioned you're using Perandus Blazon, which eats into your life even more. And res balance. The projectile damage isn't worth the sacrifice in life.

Unless you plan on using both Goldwyrm and Greed's Embrace, I highly advise that you switch to the recommended gear. You'll get the same ratio of Q/R in a finished build and have a boatload more life behind it. Alternately, Goldwyrm + Greed's + a rare leather belt with good resistance. At the very least.

I'm already overcapped on my resistance since I use gold rings instead of andarv.

So I just upgraded to a Drillneck and my dps seems to have dropped considerably. I used to be able to clear lvl 70-71 maps with ease and now I'm struggling a bit. Is there any reason I'm not seeing?

My Gear:

And here's the Quiver I upgraded from:

Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me, but my clear speed has definitely slowed for some reason.

That aside, any thoughts on which piece I should upgrade next? I know a lvl 3 bow is needed, but it's going to cost SO much at the rate I'm clearing maps.
