Regarding pierce chance, we get:
* 50% from Deadeye * 10% from Drillneck * 40% from Piercing Shots nodes With 100% Pierce Chance, I don't think it would be of any use to support Frenzy with Chain gem. Pierce is rolled before Chain, so no projectile will Chain, ever. Instead, I would suggest adding LMP as fifth link. So: Frenzy + GMP + LMP + CoH + Vulnerability. Also, since Pierce Gem gives 50% Pierce Chance, we can respec out of Piercing Shots nodes (3 points) and substitute it with Gem. Pierce gives 29% more damage at level 20 - same as Slower Projectiles, yet with no drawbacks. IGN: LeszczuTheSlayer

" Wow, I completely forgot to update the gem links section in the midst of all the pre-launch discussions going on. So, I'll explain it here and then addend the OP. First, good point regarding Chain for Frenzy. To the latter though, that's not optimal. For levelling, sure, if you get your hands on a Drillneck early, but in a finished build, we're using (1) CA - (2) Conc Effect - (3) Void Manipulation - (4) Rapid Decay - (5) Empower - (6) IIR. Meaning we'd only be at 60% Pierce without Piercing Shots. Hence, we still get it. The 40% increased damage from utilizing the gem, in additional the multiplicative damage boost it now provides, is still not enough to cover off the additional damage gained from running Empower in conjunction with all the other multipliers already present in the link chain, even if you managed to recover those three nodes for an additional jewel slot and a quad-damage jewel. To give you damage values, in a completed build with a 21 CA and Empower 3 utilizing the above gem links provided, we get 58,696 dps. Dropping to 60% pierce chance and throwing in the Pierce gem where Empower sits, you get 50,787. Now let's throw in that extra quad damage jewel and assume an average of 11% per affix (44% total increased): 54,334 dps. In other words, your best case scenario using Pierce over Empower 3 is a net dps loss of roughly 4k. Make it an Empower 4 instead, and the difference is closer to 8k. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Soo.. when i don't go that high lvl Empower gem. I should just use pierce?

" The difference is neglible when you're running Empower 2, to the point where I don't think it really matters. Pierce is only better than Slower Proj if you have a Drillneck, but have not yet taken Piercing Shots. If you've taken Piercing Shots, then it doesn't matter which one you use. IIR is up to you. Some people prefer to farm slower, but get more items to drop. Others prefer to farm faster and level quicker. Your call. I personally just wait until the 6L to add IIR. I'd rather be clearing maps faster, and with the addition of Perandus Coins this league (for those of you playing in Perandus), it's more important to find those chests (ie, by rolling more maps) imho. Yes. When it says "projectile attacks" it refers only to the actual arrow itself and when it makes impact with an enemy - it does not scale the cloud. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

I have one more problem with Gems section: is Blood Rage really good for this build?
Since we don't use Armour, we don't have any physical mitigation. We'll be getting 4% max life as phys damage with no way to mitigate other than life regen and flasks. All that for just 20% attack speed bonus. Is it worth it? I sustain my Frenzy Charges purely from Frenzy, which I'm already using to proc curse. IGN: LeszczuTheSlayer

3) How can I boost my CA damage without big investments and a big lose of survivability? My current dps is not very comfortable in the way of dealing with rare\unique mobs, although white\blue ones die pretty quickly. 4) What do you think about Divination Distillate? Dropping by to tell you I had a blast doing this build so far in perandus. This is by far the best feeling magic find build i've EVER played. The playstyle does not feel clunky at all, and for solo play clears just as fast as other non-MF builds.
