I have a 50% crit avoidance chest that I only swap out when running crit maps -- when I wear it, it gives me less net EHP (even when 100% crit immune) and the current one has more DPS due to the extra 2 levels to the AOE gems.

While working on getting a mirror ring, I'll craft a new amethyst one to cover the 16% chaos res deficiency.

That looks much better with the correct POB.

Two comments:

1) Do not get too hung up on EHP. Many build creators are asking for the POB developers to remove this stat from the tool as too many people get hung up on it when it does not really provide an accurate account of how tanky you are. Sure, it is fun to make the EHP number go up, but the people who know what they are talking about always say to focus on the max hit numbers well before the EHP numbers

2) I mentioned this before, but I want to mentioned it again. The mirror ring is not for the Ralakesh version. If you intend to spend a mirror on a single item, you have to make sure you can use every single stat on the item.

Looks like all your items sold already. I tried checking to see if I could use some of your stuff but nothing showed up on trade site.

What would the correct version of the mirror ring look like for Ralakesh? Tried looking at sushi's and TFT but could not find a "more suitable" one vs the one you had.

Thanks for making my first league as awesome as this one. Would not have made it this far without your wisdom/knowledge/guidance. This game punishes new players by providing them 1000s of options/choices/trees as early as Day 1 so I'm hoping they can strike a better balance of simplicity and complexity with POE2.

You mentioned this was the best build you have ever played. I don't have a point of reference simply because this is my first build but I'm curious though, what other builds have you played thus far and why is this the best one?

Getting ready for POE2? I should probably retire soon too as my IRL work backlog is filled to the brim lol

hello and welcome to the thread! Congrats on your (almost) first Mageblood! It is an incredible piece of gear in this build.

I have reviewed your build and will provide comments below:


* Since you are using the Intensify support gem, you need to change your caster mastery to "....+1 to maximum Intensity"

* You don't need a portal gem in the game any more. The game now provides a way to bind a key to your portal scrolls. Just look in the settings for it.

* In place of the Portal gem, add in Conductivity and link it to your Brand set up. The remove Conductivity from your Shield and add in Summon Lightning Golem.

* Your wand does have plenty of room for an upgrade. Not only more mana, but you have added cold damage on the wand which does nothing for the build.

* Change your boot implicit from movement speed to action speed

* You have way too much dexterity. The dexterity stat on the ring is being wasted. Get a new ring with similar stats but that has chaos res instead of dexterity as a suffix. This will help you to cap your chaos res

* For Mageblood you have endless choices. I would recommend looking at the build guide in the first post that has the Mageblood section and read it through and see what you like.

In general you want to make sure you are maximizing Onslaught and Crit Chance, becoming Stun Immune, Ailment Immune (with Stormshroud) and Curse Immune and then picking up what ever else you like, be it movement speed or maybe resistances that you need to fix once you lose your rare belt etc. Make sure you play around in your POB so that you can see exactly what resistances need fixing when you move to Mageblood. Note that you can also fix your resistances and get ailment immunity for free if you swap Wrath to Purity of Elements. There are lots of ways to go. If you are not sure, post a new POB with your ideas of what you want to do and we can double check it for you.

In POE, the game does not allow a player to use the same suffix on two different flasks. As such, one of your crit chances on your flask suffixes is being wasted. Change that to anything else that can help you.
