POE 2 Hard Freeze / Crashing

Same since day 1

I continue to have this issue as well. Unfortunately I can't a crash report or pull any Windows logging since it fully locks up and I have to use the power button to hard reset the entire system. I'm not even on v24Hx that's supposed to be the culprit in most cases. I'm still on 23H2.



The only thing that's fixed it is to turn multithreading back off

Yeah, it was a "potential fix" and they specifically targeted 24h2. So go figure. One player in my group is on W10 and it's still freezing, so I'm not going to risk my pc and I'll keep playing console.

I was plagued with the loading freeze with 24H2 and this patch seems to have solved it for me. I used to turn off two cores and hope for the best but I don't seem to have to do that anymore.

And now it's been removed from the known issues, despite it not being fixed and in the game since 1 day. I'm done.

Getting this exact issue now that I have upgraded my PC. Had no issues with a 10th Gen Intel CPU.

Game is freezing my entire PC with a 9800x3d CPU.
