Reset Entire Passive Skill Tree

Think i found it. Here is my skill tree. My passive skill tree is 100% damage, i am a glasscanon. I though that i could make sure to get alot of damage out of the passives and make sure to get more health via armour and weapons. The problem is that i don't know what the large passives do specificly.

Maybe some sort of compromise could be found?

How about you allow for one full tree reset about two or three days after character creation? Even new players can achieve some levels, get character and game experience in three days.

And if someone feels the need to reset his 20 or 30 skill points that he ammassed during 3 days, no real harm is done.
I love the fact there is no full respec, yes, it means you'll probably have to start a new character... a few times, but that's the best part!

You play through the game, learning the mechanics, mobs, what to expect as you progress, refining your passive tree and skill selection as you go. If it works end game, yee ha, if not, hopefully you figure out where you went wrong and you learn for next time.

Staring at the passive tree is half the fun of this game IMO!

About the only full skill tree reset I'd support, is a one-time deal on the account. You get to - once and once only - reset the tree on - one and one only - character.

I can (kind of) see why some people are asking about resets, because of the unfortunate way many ARPG's have gone, but for (I suspect) most people playing PoE, the very lack of a reset, combining with a massively deep and variable skills forest, is what drew them to this game in the first place.

Any allowance made to new players for the state of other ARPG's should be, if done at all, done only in a very heavily circumscribed way.

This.

The devs have stated they do not plan on allowing full resets and any kind of compromise on that position only puts them on the slippery slope to full reversal. I'm willing to bet more people keep playing than quit over this intended feature.

If you did that, people would complain why no respec after four or five days. Or if they skip a day, why shouldn't that come into consideration, and why just once, why not two respec in those few days if they screw up twice. No matter what you do, people will complain.

The line must be drawn somewhere.
And it has been - no instant full respecs.

If you move the line once, people will complain even more expecting it to be easier to move the line a second time.

I get their thinking, but still sounds pretty harsh to new players. I didn't even know there was a orb that could reset the skills.

True, there is that.
It can be very friendly, it gives you an excuse to re-role. and any reason to play a game is good in my opinion.
The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.
