[Vote] POE vs Lost Ark
The fact is; the most symbolic league of single players, is represented by Standard mode. A mode that has 10%-15% of those playing it, so its PERFECT for your dull single players, out there, it's PERFECT for you.
Now a league where you trade with other players, socialize, talk about builds around a field of grass (or bard tavern), and explore any other multiplayer features. While resetting with other players once per 3 months. Why? Because you want a fresh start & shared experience with others players. Guess what, that's more like a MMO. Long story short: Just herd all the Single Players to Standard mode & all the Mmorpg Players to Scourge mode or new League. Someone who plays the new league, just for the economy, but not for party play, is lame. Party play should be more important, than trading ffs. What is this, your stock trading simulator game? Get outta town with that. Or do you play solo play, on new league, just to grind solo, which you can do on standard. Why? You're on new league, just to grind solo, than use that to impress other players, at the very end of league? Why not standard then, if impressing them, or playing with an added amount more of them (bigger towns & party zones) isn't important? huh? So over this half foot in the door stuff, revert back to single player or go full multiplayer already. (The half foot in the door b.s. may be fine for the single players, but it's not fine for party players. It's limiting.) If single player was popular, then standard would be popular, but standard isn't popular, jee wonder why. 100 people towns with hang out fields. Witcher taverns. Free hair style options. IRO War of Emperium gvg map. https://clips.twitch.tv/ChillyFrailLobsterPMSTwin-jQe3D4Yt2ZttgsdA https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/15cetf5/new_frigid_bond_support_love_u_guys/ Última edição por RuneLuthien#3437 em 12 de nov. de 2021 16:15:15

MMO vs ARPG.
No one is going to vote on this. It's not even apples to oranges. |

" This is a ridiculous comment in general. It's basically assuming that everyone is either playing one arpg or another, and that's it. People play all kinds of different genre's of games, and PoE has to compete with them from a monetization and retention standpoint. LA is going to absolutely pull people away from PoE. FFXIV expansion is going to pull people away. This isn't up for an honest debate. Hell not too long we had a PoE league being delayed because of Cyberpunk? (Which LOL that didn't age well) C'mon folks do better than this. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" It was implied that Lost Ark and PoE are similar. They aren't. |

" That doesn't matter...if the players leave for another game. Cyberpunk vs PoE was a thing, that even the Devs conceded (hence the delay). Those are wayyy farther apart than LA and PoE. And to say there isn't crossover over elements LA has with arpg's is disingenuous at best. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" True. The important question will always be; for how long. We all heard D2R would be the death of PoE. New World too. Hell, Wolcen was the FOTM PoE-killer once. Yet, people keep coming back. Even you. Just the basic need for recognition. "I don't like the game anymore, so in an attempt to appear as 'right' in disliking the game, we have to jump on any bandwagon there is, and get as many people to partly agree as we can" Why not just leave and play Lost Ark? It seems like a decent game. Why this need for comparison? Why this need for a poll? Don't really know why I'm asking you, as you didn't start this thread. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" I mean I did play the LA beta (and the numbers from a closed beta were quite large), and will certainly be playing on release (mostly for the PvP). There were also a significant number of PoE streamers that played as well, even when they were not sponsored. There is definitely interest from the PoE playerbase. I suppose the point is that it could be PoE vs "literally anything", and it would be legitimate imo, from a market audience standpoint. Now perhaps the amount of impact could be debated depending on direct competiton in the genre, but I would disagree that LA & PoE don't have crossover players. And without be too snarky, I suppose I will allow people to play both LA and PoE when it's out... " And tons of PoE streamers played Wolcen. And D2R. And New World. And tons of them will be playing Lost Ark on release. I still don't see the point of this thread. Let people play whatever they want to play. " Bingo! Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

lost arc is just your standard generic Asian cash grab mmo. look at the skill systems and the menus etc. Just looks like your basic asian garbage copy paste game.
lost arc will go down in the list of middle-bottom tier mmos after six months of being out. I will put it at 1/5th of final fantasies player count on average once it regulars out. bring back the state of the game in 1.3 vaults of atziri patch
