same.
4090 4k. not good fps. not busy gpu&cpu. lower or high graphic setting? don't care. |

" 10% CPU usage but I have high FPS. GPU usage is fine but I'm just wondering how much more FPS I would have if my CPU usage was higher. RAM is 5600MHZ DDR5 all 4 sticks are the same and XMP1 is on. |

7800X3D + 7800XT + advanced pc user (30y exp)
Cpu usage: 40-50% GPU usage: 60-70% Whenever I engage in crowded mechanics (breach/exp/shit map laouts) my fps drop to 50-60s from 150-250fps. I have no problem when there is no crowd (campaign, nojuiced maps etc) I didnt have that much performance issues in the first few weeks but maybe that is probably our maps were not juiced and we were playing ruthless. I will never understand how a company makes an exact clone of a game with HORRIBLE performance issues. This is just like poe1 all over again, just disappointed. If you see your CPU going from 10ms to 17ms, it means it is taking that much longer to process a single frame. You can have a million cores and threads, but the slowest of the threads dictates how fast the frame is completed and sent to the GPU.
If you have one core at 100% and rest at 40%, then the main thread is getting choked - get a faster CPU or accept the performance. Outside of the few X3D/4090 gamers in the thread, most of you are running 10 year old CPU's. While yea it's the minimum spec, you are not going to get anything mindblowing without dynamic resolution, I would assume towns are at most 1080p30. Anything past that would be a cherry on the top. The only good metric to see is if one CPU core is pegged at 100%. If yes, that's what you get for performance. Don't use overall utilization in diagnosis (unless it's 100%, that's a different issue). Also, a game using 100% of CPU means your OS has nothing left and if the OS is programmed poorly, you get a hard lock or shutdown; see the 2 megathreads already. |

" This is a GGG classic shader+audio issue, if you record your gameplay with F1 menu with the bars visible, you will notice your Shader bar pegs to 100% when you get lower performance -> eats CPU -> lower FPS. Also you will get some audio drops or delays with screen freezes. It's a side effect of realtime shader compilation to prevent cheating software from reading precompiled shaders to find out if something like a randomly spawning boss or a rare monster modifier is present. Downside is that when you meet something new, the game wants more shaders and gosh darnit will it takes its time to generate them. |

" Wtf are you saying??? 10 year old CPU?? I am running an i5 12400f that's a mid range CPU from 2022, that's 3 years old if you can't count. It's well past the minimum requirement and exceeds the recommended CPU even. Many have shared CPUs even better than mine, and shared the exact same sentiments. My CPU only peaks in certain scenarios and hence the post and what it describes. You are a complete nuisance, please stay away an let GGG handle this. The CPU issue is well known. |

" And your point being? If this is an intentional decision by GGG then it's a poor one, because it vastly impacts the performance for the majority. |

Same problem here!
Specs Ryzen 5 3600 16GB RAM 2666Mhz RTX 4060ti Watercooler 240mm Windows10 Graphs on DLSS Balance MODE In first 30min on endgame 15 mais, my GPU use stay between 91%-99% and temp 62°. R5 3600 on 4.1GHZ use at 40%-44%. My FPS is above 100 constantly, i can smooth play. But passed sometime my GPU usage down to 60%-70% and cpu to 31%-37% and FPS fixes arround 50fps. I tried down the settings to minimum but no noticiable difference. Windows setting graphs high performance, gpu setted to high performance on nvidia control panel, power plan on high too. Shaders not a problem to me, i put it on 100GB size, and when i join a map, shaders stay high for 30seconds and the fps estabilize. Tryed all fixes i found without result. BIOS Updated Chipset updated Nvidia updated Windows 10 22h2 (dunno if i update w11, ppl havia problems on 24h2 build.) Any tips? The game needs improvements fast. |
