Playing POE on My IPad
There is nothing novel about the iPad or its derivatives. They are simply a tablet PC with different components, based on the evolution of laptops and phones.
One day it will be powerful enough to play games like this, and you will simply pair them with wireless mouse/keyboard or even a virtual mouse/keyboard.... or potentially just kinect style gestures. That day is not today however. If you have account problems please Email Support

" Well you're clueless then. The iPad has an extremely user friendly touch interface. It's my #1 device now to read and follow RSS feeds. I read all my gaming news on it too, in Flipboard. It's a lot more easy to discover new feeds, to watch gameplay trailers and such. In fact this device takes RSS feeds to a level where it enters the mainstream and is no longer an advanced user feature for those that know about Google Reader, because of the front ends that make it completely transparent to find news sources and follow websites and such. Not to mention you can also follow YouTube channels, Facebook pages, etc from Flipboard. When it sits in a stand next to my PC, I continue to check my feeds on it, Twitter, GMail, I respond to GMail straightaway with a bluetooth keyboard that stays on my desk, so it's a lot more functional than when using it on the sofa. It has some great podcast apps, and music apps too. Dude, that thing costs 400$. It's worth every cent. You can get an Android tablet for half the price too. With DropBox, Google Drive etc. and Apple's own iCloud you can pretty much work on the iPad as a small laptop, if you use a keyboard and a stand. http://brettterpstra.com/ios-text-editors/ " No, see, you don't understand what this medium is about. The iPad is NOT a tablet PC. A tablet PC is just a PC in a tablet, it's a useless P.O.S. The iPad and now its copycats, has been extremely successfull especially because it is NOT a tablet PC. It is a OS that is entirely customized and designed from the ground up for a touch interface. You have to try one to understand there is a huge difference between reading gaming news in Flipboad and trying to work in excell on a tablet PC with an interface that was designed for a mouse. |

"Given the authority behind this diagnoses I'm almost tempted to claim benefits... "Correction. The iPad and its ilk has a butchered, retard-friendly, interface designed around a backward and entirely un-friendly input mechanism. I get that every mouth-breather and its cousin wants to play at cool-minority-report-type-super-hero but that is hardly an excuse for endorsing this form of silliness. <..followed by a whole swathe of marketing twaddle around browsing which has nothing to do with gameplay or productivity and pretty much sums up what these devices are... over-priced e-readers for the technologically victimised who think pricey gadgets offer an IQ buff...> It's not a gaming device. It's not a productive tool. FFA: The looting choice of Hardcore-Hero Manly-Men Griefers! Yo!

" Well, I have a sixaxis (Playstation 3) controller linked to my Samsung Galaxy S, no cables or anything, key mapping is fine, so, while maybe not for the Apple devices, Android certainly will allow some cool stuff when it comes to this. Since the OP clearly is thinking of streaming his games to his iPad (which you just CANNOT do even on a N-wireless network) I guess that's where the topic now is. There are always companies planning to offer game streaming services. It's all perfectly feasible with the right software-technology. The Open Source community is sure o be able to has out something workable in time, probably for Linux and Mac first, then port it to windows, remote desktop and the likes on Windows just seems like a huge buttrape to get working probably. |

I actually play PoE on my HP touchpad using a remote desktop application with the game running on my PC. It's not the most accurate or easy thing to use but it's good for logging on to do stash management or playing a lower lever toon.
I can log in wirelessly over my home network or from work. Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things right now: Jack and shit... and Jack left town. Última edição por Dhrakken#2383 em 16 de ago. de 2012 17:56:27

"No. It can't. It can be streamed to the iPad which is not the same thing. Why would anyone want laggier performance on a substandard display? (aside from the me-so-clever-monkey stupidity that Apple markets to....) FFA: The looting choice of Hardcore-Hero Manly-Men Griefers! Yo!

You might be able to get an existing version to work working on an Android tablet, since Android runs ontop of a stripped down linux... but, that's really pushing it.
