is there a 64 bit executabe for P.O.E.?

i hit 2GB ram in poe after a few hours of play, its not even hard to do. You can tell when you hit it, i simply restart the game when.

Here is a fun fact poe is the only mmo i play which i am unable to play with other people with... 15 skellys 9 zombies and 3 specters. no one will group with me because iam an FPS killer...

Any performance improvements are welcome.
Seriously who doesn't have a 64 bit OS and more than 4 Gb ram in 2014???

Its dumb that games keep sticking to 32 bit when PC hardware has been beyond that limitation for around a decade already.

1/3 of our players are on a 32-OS. Le sigh.

I don't believe that there's any benefit to creating a 64-bit executable in this case.

This.
Why would you want it? What do you think it would do for you?
I'm on 64it Windows 7, and I have 8gb of RAM, but seriously...this game is quaint. Not sure what making it 64bit would even do for it.

You know what would really flip your lid? The number of people with more than 4gb of Ram and a 32 bit OS. Steam doesn't give us those numbers, but I can tell you that it happens more than you'd imagine. (Hint: Sometimes vendors sell PCs like that).

Sure, rely on steam where most of the players dont even play.

Pretty sure Steam is pretty representative for sampling the playerbase hardware and it is, best to my knowledge the best bet on information that we have available here, of course GGG must have better data but for the sake of the discussion then i see no problem - what so ever - using these steam numbers

POE runs pretty smooth despite being 32bit so no complaints from me there. Only thing is, when you alt-tab during a map the fps goes to shit (from 60 to sub 30), after the next loading screen it goes back to normal. This doesn't happen in towns btw.
Would 64bit help with that?

Ahhhh, is that why the game runs smooth for 10 mins before having big FPS issues & choppy gameplay, because I've hit the ram limit?

It might not show all players, but sure shows a expressive amount of them. Good enough for data gathering...
