Steam offline , no game ?!

Hello !
Well for some reason i cant connect to steam at the moment ( and for some reason i decided to merge my game acc with my steam acc ) and now i cant play the game at all ! I log in offline mode , run the game and the game says i have to be connected to steam...so what i cant play at all ?! :( Any way around this ? Último bump em 23 de dez. de 2016 13:39:43

" That is a drawback to steam, but Offline Mode usually works...I guess the way the PoE account is still on GGG's domain and needs Steam to communicate with it, maybe that's why Offline mode doesn't work. Sucks though...I still play through the non-steam client, you can still get the game achievements if you care, I guess you just can't get the trading cards if they have them. |

You dont need steam to play the game. Most players dont use steam to play POE

I know you dont NEED Steam to play it , but if you already merged your acc with steam you sort of do. Also that includes downloading again the game and having 2nd copy of it for when steam is not working. I didnt merge with it for achies or cards or whatever , i did it couse its more comfortable for me to have it in my library with all my other games. Also its comfortable while i'm playing another game to have it updated so when i decide to play PoE its already updated and i dont have to w8 on anything. All in all its not a big deal. If i know for sure that i can remove the game from my library, download the client old school like i played it in beta and login to play...but after i merged my acc with steam acc i now login with my steam acc , not the normal one , so i'm not entirely sure if its possible to play it without steam now :( . It is back online and i can play now , but still rises the question for the future if its still going to be like that.

I don't know how exactly steam works, but PoE is "online only", so all parts of your connection have to work. Your computer, your router, your ISP, (Steam, if selected), GGGs ISP, gameserver, ... whatever else.

Yeah well i said in previous posts that the only thing that wasnt working was Steam itself, my internet and PC was and still is totaly fine, i also said why i decided to merge with steam and use steam, dont get why ppl waste time on trolling :D.
