A cornerstone of ARPGs is replay value

Stop comparing PoE to D2. Start looking at Median. Median was the shit for me before finding PoE. I had far more fun playing Median than I ever did with Blizzard's version of the game.

It is in the best interest of GGG to drag out PoE as much as possible. The longer you stick around, the more likely you'll donate some money. GGG is running the same bait and switch many other free korean MMO's ran 15 years ago.

I have 4 builds past level 75 now, all of which are capable of soloing most 70+ maps with gear found and funded from my original 80+ summoner. I have less than 2k hours in this game.

I do have good gear, but I don't play on Standard where there are guys running around with 100 duped Mirrors and shit like which is probably worth more than all of your characters combined.

I'm not talking about a bunch of level 75 chars that clear maps in standard on an account with 150 hours played. I am talking about trying to build true end game chars and experience late game crafting. The op was comparing it to D2, where we had 20 chars decked as shit with badass fun gear, and not "dude I've got 4 chars that can baby step through maps in a league that's been around for a year".

You're the one getting angry because I agree with the majority of people in this post who aren't having fun or finding replay value in the game. It's okay for people to have differing opinions. The only thing that makes me want to slam my head against a wall is people who don't even know what an apostrophe does.

Again, slam away. I'm happy with this game. It offers tons of replayability, it just doesnt cater to the replayability of a single character. (since you know...replayability isnt one playthrough, its many playthroughs)

3. Tons of builds

As far as I can see, this game has more replayability than D2 did, and I played d2 for 10 years.

There is no slamming. You're taking it personal. I want this game to do well, but in order to do so there have to be changes that appeal to the majority.

My friends list stuck on 0, the chat channels are a fraction of what they used to be, and top streamers are complaining about drop rates and crafting, and have left the game. People are abandoning this game like it's a sinking ship, and it's not good for any of us if the majority of people are leaving due to boredom 2 months into release.

the only reason why it was easy to get gear in d2 was because of dupers, so your point is invalid
