Fellow HDD players: I thinke we're being saved
If you don't want to spend $40 on a 250GB SSD that will make multiple games run better. That's on you.
Personally I'm upgrading to a 1TB SSD that will hold over for years and store every game I own. SSD's have been basic for pc gaming for years now. |

" Is this a thing? I bought my SSD for ~115$ a year ago and it's 100$ right now in the same local shop. Developing country, by the way, not USA nor EU. We had strict lockdown for around 3 months. Other PC parts raised by around 5-10% due to the lockdown. |

" Do I really need to explain the obvious? @SSD Trolls Man, how people are these days... Something that will be good for a lot of players and doesn't affect them is being trashed just because SSD will not make you feel special. It's funny to see that people need to feel superior chose everything possible, including ridiculous things like HDD x SSD discussion. Some people must have spent the money in a therapist or something instead of SSD. But if that makes you feel superior, happy or whatever you feel, ok, you are special, you are the best, you deserve to be praised. "There's no thing like random one-shots in this game. " Guessing you don't have an SSD. Or you would know the load times are literally 100x faster. No one is saying anything about being superior. It's just simple facts. Plus they are only like $40 bucks. Lol. No one is bragging. Edit: I can tell you for 100% fact SSD's make a huge difference on load times. I uninstalled poe a while back and my old SSD was filled up so I installed poe on my HDD. The load times went from instant to upwards to 8+ seconds every screen. A question for you SSD people: why should not GGG optimize the game for HDD?
Whenever I complained and gave feedback about loading times the answer was always the same: "buy SSD". But I never had a single good answer as to why GGG should not optimize the game other than "SSD are cheap". I really wanna know, what's the problem on GGG fixing and optimizing the game for non-SSD users? "There's no thing like random one-shots in this game. " The entire post is about them optimizing for HDD users. My lawt. Dense much? Also quit telling people SSD's don't work just because you don't want to buy one. K. Thanks. Última edição por CheLseAxGriNN#2468 em 8 de set. de 2020 13:29:00

" My understanding is the game should work better for everyone, but people using HDDs will benefit more. It seems win-win to me. People are/were probably saying that GGG shouldn't optimize for HDD because they didn't expect people using SSDs to benefit. That time/money could be spent adding new features or fixing other issues. |

" But most computers are still run on HDD. It never made sense to ignore it. poe is the only game I've played that almost requires a SSD. Even wow, a game that is over twice in content size than poe, runs nicely on a HDD for me. It always sounded like a copout excuse for bad programming to say that everyone needs to buy a SSD. |
