Fellow HDD players: I thinke we're being saved
" this myth is such nonsense. linus tech tips tested one for 20 usd and it was actually decent. it doesn't have to be a multi TB enterprise grade ssd for thousands of dollars. |

" LOL! Ain't it the truth. Do as I did and tell your best friends you want an SSD for Christmas. I did and was gifted a 1 TB NVMe SSD and PoE runs well on it (so does Win 10 Pro and everything else). But the OP has zero support packs to his name so maybe he is dirt poor. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 |

" And just how exactly do you plan to fix the game? Yes, PoE performs terribly, and yes, it would be great if GGG just fixed the game, but expecting this to happen any time soon is simply unrealistic. I'd rather pay the small amount it takes to upgrade to a SSD and get better performance immediately than suffer years of worse performance just because I was trying to make a point. As to why GGG don't spend more money making the game playable for those with older hardware, my guess is they simply don't care about those people and are making enough revenue form people who do get good enough performance. This thread has gotten pretty toxic lol. I'm excited OP, til now I've been avoiding Syndicate and Delirium content because of it because really that's the only time it hangs up for me and I'll be pretty excited to see if my beautiful beloved years old HDD can handle it now.
There can only be one Oatmeal.

" Are you actually saying that upgrading your own shit, and do something with your own setup is an option, instead of demanding GGG to cater to your old, specific setup? Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

I remember in 1995 when I was like "SUPER NINTENDO HAS SUCH A BETTER GRAPHICS THAN NINTENDO". The irony is when I got my first console "Nintendo" I had way more fun with video games than most of the past decade.
Graphics and the continues demand of it....it's why despite the tools and technology we are stuck with, well more of the same from what we had decades back. Última edição por Kopogero#0635 em 10 de set. de 2020 20:29:39

Imagine ridiculing fellow players for not wanting to invest into a SSD just yet. Pathetic but expected.

" Imagine defending people who choose not to use an SSD for their computer in 2020 "Path of Exile's engine is currently modern, lean and fast." - Chris Wilson, September 19th, 2019 "It looks like we broke something with 3.10.0. " That's not the essence here, at least it shouldn't be. People are free to spend/not spend money on whatever they want without being "ridiculed". But when people start complaining over the game's performance, without being willing to see that they can actually do something about it themselves, it's starting to look a little bit silly. My garage door motor is old and in serious need of replacement, as it can hardly lift the door. I'm not willing to spend any money on it just now, but I know it would be less of a problem if I did. That is my choice, though - not to upgrade the motor. But I will never blame it on the door, as I know I can fix/improve it by spending a few bucks. I won't whine about it either, as the situation is partly my fault. FANTASTIC anaology. To sum it up for you: The problem isn't that people don't want to upgrade. The problem is when they whine about the performance they get while not being willing to upgrade. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" Did your garage door also come with a built in 2k kilo weight that cannot be removed without the manufacturer doing it for you? Because to actually complete your analogy, that pointless weight that stresses your motor needs to be there. |
